Oof. I've had a couple of solid Banh Mi's here, so I decided to see what else was available, especially since this place is much cheaper than Banhmigos a couple blocks away, but today I tried the beef ball Pho and a Vietnamese coffee and they were disappointing. The beef balls had a sort of freezer-ish taste which made it hard to ignore imaging a bulk order from costco that was forgotten for a few months. I really tried, but after the third one my stomach refused to continue, which I was highly motivated to overrule since there isn't much more protein in this item. And to be honest, this is at least as impressive an achievement, since I'm chemically addicted to caffeine. Just too sweet, and really stale. Everything is fairly priced. So happy to have a real authentic-tasting Vietnamese option in this neighborhood! Thank you for a perfect lunch, Bahn Mi Cafe. Looking forward to trying the pho and rice...

They don’t have a traditional Dac Biet Banh Mi unfortunately but tasty enough. The Pho is ok. Broth could be richer. Staff is really nice and food comes out fast. More takeaway as there’s only a couple small tables. The light is very bright so not...
