Nobel Deli — Restaurant in New York

On a Saturday night, I came here to a 2 liter Pepsi soda. The soda, was priced at $3.50. I gave the clerk a $20 bill and he proceeded to give me $16.50 back in change, which consisted of a $10 bill, a $5.00 bill and fifty cents. Only when I got far away from the store did I notice that the five dollar bill was ripped in half. I didn’t notice it at first because of the way he gave me the money in my hand. I came to the store today to speak to the cashier about the bill and he swore it wasn’t him, but also pretended to not speak English very well (which is interesting since you are working the cash register at an establishment). He told me to come back during someone else’s shift, as he attempted to place the blame on someone else’s shift. Also, while I was in the store, a drug addict came in to sell stolen candy and he informed her to come back in the morning and speak with “Samir”. You can’t make this nonsense up. This deli has always come through with quality chicken cutlet and chopped cheese sandwiches. Even on an off day, the sandwiches are still delicious. At most, they might miss a small ingredient or two (ketchup or mayo) which is easy enough to fix at home. The younger Spanish guy working the grill in the back is impatient and disrespectful. Guy wants to give me attitude because I didn’t finish saying my order before telling him what bread I wanted my sandwich on. Learn to listen first then reply.
