Drinks are great and used to come here all the time.
What is interesting though is the no laptop policy? Walked in and saw many people working on their iPads on the tables inside. Since there were signs that indicated a no laptop policy indoors, my partner and I walked to their (great) outdoor space in the back.
It was one hour before closing and there were barely any people sitting in the outdoor patio. I have come here many times to work and have not been asked to put away my laptop.
There is apparently a sign on the door that says there are also no laptops outside (which I missed); and given the circumstances, I thought (like many times before) that I could get some work done on the weekends here.
I understand there is a no laptop policy to prevent people from taking up space inside; but why enforce the policy when it is so close to closing and the patio is not even half full? I’d be happy to stop using my laptop if the cafe was busy and we were genuinely preventing people from coming in, but enforcing it so strictly at this time (given the context) was a bit confusing to me.
Moreover, the interaction I had with staff was a bit off putting, as the staff was a bit rude when telling us to get off our devices. As soon as customers were told this, everyone quickly left.

Read more*Read the bad reviews before going * After reading all the one star reviews and realizing several people felt the same F customers energy, I feel way less bad about leaving my review.
I don’t leave reviews, but this was memorably bad. Very aesthetic place, if you’re here for photos and to not enjoy your breakfast or coffee then you’re in the right place!
Just be aware no substitutions at all to the menu. Couldn’t take something out of an order, also couldn’t add anything on ??
We ordered a double espresso (that came out the size of a single and got an exasperated look when clarifying if it was in fact a double) and a black coffee after being told a hazelnut latte wasn’t possible and only seasonal flavors are available.
Also ordered two avocado toasts with eggs after being told no subs to the BEC, there was some miscommunication because only one avocado toast came out with eggs.
Overall extremely disappointed and will 100% never return, we took a chance going to a place in queens.
The attitude in the service industry has had a big shift over the last few years, hoping we walked in on an off day for the sake of the rest of the customers who come here.

Customer Service: 3/5 The service was fine, nothing to complain about, but it wasn't exceptional. A little more warmth or attention could have made the experience stand out more.
Quality of Drinks: 5/5 I tried the seasonal Orange Cardamom Latte, which tasted like a holiday chocolate orange--sweet but delicious. I've also had their cappuccinos and instant coffee before, and all of it was high-quality, great-tasting coffee. They really know how to do coffee here.
Value for Money: 4/5 The two lattes came to $18 with tips, which is a bit steep. It's definitely on the pricier side, but for the quality and experience, I'd say it's worth it as a special treat.
Overall Experience: 5/5 A solid 5-star experience overall. I'd definitely return to enjoy their drinks, especially the seasonal offerings. Highly recommend as a cozy spot to relax with...
