Awesome pizza! Great food and super friendly staff! Was recommended by a couple friends and they were so right! Best slice so far in the UWS!

Pizza: Delicious! The crust is the best part, so airy and tasty. I honestly could just eat the crust and sauce. So great! I tried the pep and the Calabrese. Both were excellent. Will happily be back to try more slices! DELICIOUS!

Sausages: Spicy sausage and peppers were tasty and actually spicy (compared to many places just have “spices” but aren’t actually spicy. I just wanted to taste it but if I got it again I would get the sandwich. Really good.

Meatballs: loads of sauce and fresh basil and cheese! I took it home to heat it up and eat it and it was just as fresh. $2 per meatball may be on the pricier side and will probably stop me from ordering again, but it was really good.

Overall this is a solid pizza spot in the UWS. They take care of the important things (great sauce, great crust, tasty toppings) but they also focus on the little things like decor, seating and ambiance. If you haven’t yet, definitely try out Pizza Connection! You may find you have a new...

This is definitely one of the best pizza experiences I've had in the upper west side, and one of the top and all of Manhattan. The ingredients are extremely fresh. It is clear that they're using top shelf ingredients. Service was helpful and friendly. This is a cafeteria-style order at the counter and sit down at a table. Very similar to other pizza joints around new york. Music is not exactly to my taste but it wasn't blaring and allowed for normal communication volume. The only minor issue I had was that every time the door was open, a blast of cold air would descend upon the eating space. Depending on how many people were coming and going at any moment made it more or less pleasant. After a few seconds of the door closed the heating took over and it was fine, but it was just annoying that I had to deal with it. Aside from that minor issue, and even with it, I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for truly delectable pizza. I haven't tried their other offerings but if the freshness of the ingredients is anything, then I'm willing to bet the other dishes will be...

Third bad meal. I have eaten here since they have opened. Pizza is fresh and good. Service is nice and friendly. However, the food quality and preparation has deteriorated. The last few pasta dishes have been horrible because their line cooks do not know. what they are doing Spaghetti was so al dente it was chewy and could not eat eat, tomatoe sauce was watery, they did mnot think to add parmesan cheese on the side. They put basil leaves in the sauce while cooking and are wilted vs adding them on top afterwards as a garnish. The cheesy pasta last week was overwhelmingly filled with so much gooey cheese, it was nauseating and I had to throw it out. They used to use fresh mozz on their sandwiches and dishes and not it is cheap shredded. Once I ordered a pizza and was received incorrectly plus it was not cut up into slices properly. Do not order to go close to closing time or you will be sorry. Not happy that I threw out my last two dinners before finishing,...

Came here before a concert at Lincoln Center because of all the outstanding reviews. The crust is definitely foccacia-like, well charred while still being soft inside. I got a funghi slice and an eggplant parmigiana slice. My son got a buffalo chicken ranch and a pepperoni, and my husband got a Calabrese and a pepperoni. There was no line at around 6:30 which was great, though they were clearly doing business. Tables inside were about half taken. It was very warm inside so we opted for the nice "al fresco" option they offer outside. Pizza was reheated quickly, cut into pieces and promptly served to our table. That said, although the crust was perfectly cooked - most of the toppings were disappointing. Not "bad" pizza- but definitely not the finest NY has to offer. Would I come back? Sure. Will it be a priority? Nah. If you're looking for decent pizza, stop by. If you're looking for traditional NY pizza, keep looking.
