I've been a customer of this chain for years now and although I appreciate the more ethnic option as far as fast food specifically chicken, goes, this particular location always seems to need work. The food I'm pretty sure has never disappointed me but when I walk in there, mostly during afternoons or evenings the floors always seem to have something on them. At least one or two of the tables in the eating area always needs to be cleaned. Last night about an hour before closing I wanted to order grilled chicken but they ran out with no explanation. I noticed that location rarely seems to have grilled chicken available for purchase. When I looked over the counter there was cooked food on the floor, a few whole pieces of chicken and there was enough of a staff behind the counter for someone to pick up the stuff. The garbage in the cooking area was overflowing. It looked like one of those cans that had a slot at rhe top but knownone seemed to care about pushing the garbage directly into the slot so it was almost going over onto the floor. Also I could see what I think was a metal draw of used grease on the floor almost to the top about to overflow. It's disgusting I came close to cancelling my order and walking out this time! To be clear again I like the chain and the food alot, and I know when it's busy it's hard to clean up everything. I also know its a tough time for chain restaurants now because of the economy. But for the benefit of the franchisee and out of respect for the customers I think these issues should be addressed to prevent various other problems which would prevent that location of Pollo from continuing to stay open. There are no other PC locations convenient to where I live but I can't keep giving that place my business if the management doesn't clean up it's...
Read moreI went with my partner to this location today and was not the best experience. We have been here other few times and it has been okay. When we got in, there were two people ahead of us. It was not busy and we placed our order smoothly. After us, more people started to come in. We sat to wait for our food. I ordered a breast and leg grilled chicken with rice and beans. My boyfriend showed me that the receipt did not mention rice and I didn’t mind that it wasn’t there. The worker called my name and I heard it clearly. We got our order quick which we thought was great. My boyfriend decided to check the order and saw that it was not the food that we ordered so he went to tell the staff that gave it to us. When describing the order given, another lady said that the order was hers. The worker looked confused and couldn’t believe she made that error so she looked at the other order and our order receipt. She then told us that she said “Haile” not “Daisy”. You can hear the difference between a D with an H and an S with a L. She said it loud and I heard the S in my name. If she would have said “Haile” the other person would have grabbed it and she was right in front of them. I had to get up and walk there. She made it look like it was our fault and treated the other person better. It was whatever. I am not the person to argue in front of people. When we got our order, we took it to eat outside. I saw that my order had a leg and another piece that wasn’t breast. I left it like that because after the previous encounter, I didn’t want to bother after the worker was annoyed. I won’t be back here after...
Read moreThe food here use to be so good, but I stopped going for a while because they started lacking on the service and the chicken (both grilled and fried) taste.
I decided to go back after a while and it was horrible. The grilled chicken was not the same at all, they were so dried it taste like day old chicken, they didn't even bother to put the lime with it as they use to. The fried was raw on the inside.
As per usual, they forgot something out of my bag, which I normally check because they always do this, but I was in a rush after wait for so long for everything that I didn't. As a result, they left out the potatoes on the second...
