The owner of this bar is gross. This bar frequently comments on negative reviews so I hope they see this. I went in with my friends last night. A man passing us grabbed on to my friends head and wouldn’t let go. She told him to stop, he didn’t. I stepped in and told him to stop. He immediately began to lie and say he never grabbed her and began to escalate the situation by threatening to fight me outside. I told him to leave us alone and that’s when he told me “well I’m the owner”. I said I don’t care, leave us alone. He left us alone for a minute but couldn’t have enough, he came to me specifically and kicked me out of the bar while still denying that he grabbed my friend. My friends left with me and when we spoke with the bouncer about the situation he apologized to me. It seems that there is an understanding that this behavior is typical. The owner was incredibly disrespectful and was acting like a brat because we didn’t let him just do whatever the hell he wanted. Gross way to treat people.

EDIT The owner reviewed footage of himself and found nothing wrong. Shocker. The right thing to do in the moment would've been to just let go and say "My bad". There would have been no issue. Instead you had to get very aggressive and lost 4 potential costumers. I’m not sure if the guy white guy white beard ball head I’m not sure if he is racist or something is going on with him, but I felt so uncomfortable with him because every time I ordered it was a problem. I was at a event and it was just like he was picking on me the whole time at the event I ordered something I’m allergic to pickles so it’s like I get that you guys have food out on the table already, which is cold and I just wanted something without pickles and stuff. I don’t know if he was thinking that I was taking advantage, but it was just so uncomfortable because like you kept on telling me nobody else And I’m a black person and I go and I support bars tip and everything for you to come at me and like oh it’s a free event. Food is good, beer selection is decent.

I was at an industry sponsored event a few months ago (not an open bar). Bartender was rude, argued with me when he mispoured my drink twice. I understand that there amid communications happen, I intended to and paid for all of my drinks ( a beer is a beer, right?). But the bartender was rude and said I didn’t know what I was drinking. He was wasted by 9pm. Not a good look for a bar and a worse look for a bar that often hosts professional groups and events.

The owner came out afterwards and chatted to some of my colleagues, couldn’t care less for the guy, an obnoxious mix of boisterous and standoffish. The whole place has a “too cool for school” feel to it.
