This place definitely does not live up to its name. There is nothing prestigious about this place.
Salted Egg Yolk Bao: filling was brown due to addition of brown sugar, brown sugar was severely overpowering, you couldn't even taste the salted egg yolk Egg Custard Bao: not enough filling compared to bao Baked Cha Siew Bao: the green crumbly cookie crumb kind of layer on top is really weird, mediocre at best--just do the simple egg wash and let it turn golden brown Fried Shrimp Roll: large, overstuffed, overcooked shrimp, felt like I was eating a blunt of shrimp Fried Chive Dumplings: overcooked shrimp ruined it Fried Milk: why does this look like a spring roll? Stuffed Eggplant with Shrimp: instead of it actually being stuffed like how most places serve it, the eggplant center was dug out for the most part, and the filling which looked like shrimp tasted strangely fishy (not in a good way, I couldn't tell if there was fish in it, if that was intentional, or if something had gone bad) and was covered in sweet chili sauce Har Gow: overcooked shrimp, extremely wet, felt like I was eating XLB, disappointment Boneless (according to menu) Herbal Chicken Feet: came cold, NOT BONELESS, gave a total of FOUR chicken feet for $9 (so much less than what normal places give), each foot chopped in half to make it look like they weren't giving us a small portion, lacked flavor, not enough angelica root Beef Rice Noodle Roll: not enough soy sauce, filling to cherng fun ratio was like, 1:2, mediocre at best Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll: not enough soy sauce (I started to wonder if they were rationing the soy sauce), mediocre at best (even an average one tastes better) Sauteed Clams: small portion compared to the price, but also cold, and the first one I bit into was undercooked
This is a place where they give you menus, the waiter/waitress comes over and inputs your order on an iPad, and your food comes out of the kitchen by staff (instead of carts). You would think on the biggest holiday where every dimsum place is busy with customers, the restaurant would be well-staffed (NOPE).
Staff will literally ignore you and walk away from you when you ask them for something. When voicing our complaints (I understand if one or two things sucked, but every single thing we ordered?), one of the waitresses tried to defend themselves by stating they were busy (but they weren't that busy when we arrived), and even that shouldn't be your excuse for serving poor quality, stingy portion, undercooked food.
The worst part about this whole experience, is the restaurant is GORGEOUS. Chandelier decorations, white, very fancy like appearances, painting literally on the ceiling, the decor is heavily influenced by the Romans with a statues of Roman soldiers (Julius Caesar or Agustus) and a statue of Minerva, fancy bathroom with golden sinks adorned with what looks like jewels.
But not even their decor could save what the food lacked... I don't know if the chefs had an off day, or if it was just bad luck, but I'm just disappointed, sad, and hungry...

We were charged for 5 tea spots so I asked the waiter why are we being charged for 5 spots and he said because we got a big table with 2 child, so we said ok fine and mentioned that we never got charged since we were there so many times. As we started eating, we asked for ice, and the same waiter said the ice machine is broken and cant give us ice and if we get ice other people cant get ice because we asked if we can have the small bucket. We understand so we said ok can we get 2 small cups, and he said we had to run upstairs to get ice and go outside to get ice. Then my parents said its ok, we got it. THAT IS JUST THE BEGINNING!!!! As we were eating, we asked if theres veggies spring rolls or shrimp rolls and they said oh no because theres not enough staff on making it, so we asked for the steamed bamboo rolls and they said its steaming, and they kept on saying its steaming, we waited for like 15 mins and never came. PLEASE NOTE, THE TIME WAS ONLY 12:30PM AND THEY DNT HAVE A LOT OF STUFF ON A SUNDAY! RIDICULOUS...! Toward the end of the meal, my husband wants to eat beef tripes, so he took the dimsum card and looked for the beef tripes. As he was taking the tripes, the other waiter came and asked an amigo to clean the whole table and asked us to go outside to pay because they needed the table. So I told them, my husband is getting the food. They didnt care and kept on cleaning the table and took the table wrapper along with our phones and car keys. We told the amigo and he was pissed and walked away. Then we asked for the bill, the same waiter from the beginning who argued with me about the kids tea spot, saying we cant pack the beef tripes so I asked him how am I going to eat if they already cleaned our chopsticks and plate? Then he found nothing to argue back and started saying, I didnt clean the chopsticks and plates and I told him its not about who cleaned the plates or chopsticks, its about thr attitude. Im a customer. If I request for ridiculous stuff like ice, I understand, but it's not. I go there even before their promotion begins and now they are giving shitty attitude. If anyone recorded me and found me in tiktok or 小紅書, please share this note as well. I am still...

Though their deal seems attractive, I sure hope it’s enough to sustain them in the next month because the service and attitude was appalling and definitely not appealing for any type of customer to continue giving them any business. Before we finished eating and were in the middle of ordering more food, the staff started packing everything up. If you were that busy, kindly tell your customers at the door to wait, not kick out the customers who are sitting down and trying to enjoy their meal. In addition when asked if we could get more sauce, one of the staff there decided to rudely respond saying something along the lines of “The kitchen has a whole tub. What about I give you that instead?” Genuinely if you’re going to open up a restaurant, let alone a dimsum restaurant, with a staff that treats their customers like nuisances, just don’t bother or just hire people with better customer service skills, especially since the food certainly doesn't make up for the lack in service. I’ve been to all sorts of dimsum restaurants from Chinatown to Hong Kong and while service is not always the sweetest, it was never disrespectful or rude. From previous reviews, this is clearly a problem with no solution thus far. Even with the new renovations and management, they give the same copy paste answer to any sort of problem or criticism, so I doubt anything is being done or fixed. Don’t bother coming. Nothing in this restaurant is worth the headache...
