Tastes as good as it looks! There's always a crowd in here so I stopped in to see what all the fuss is about... And I'm glad I did!

The pizza was really good. Thin & crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and just the right amount of toppings. I had a margherita slice, buffalo chicken slice and a plain slice.

Margherita was great! Well balanced cheese to sauce ratio, very good slice.

Buffalo chicken was ok. They make theirs with the breast meat (white meat) part of the chicken which made the chicken dry, but other than that, was a good slice. Buffalo sauce was mild, and (thank goodness) no Bleu cheese on the pie.

Plain slice is just what the doctor ordered for a classic NY Slice. Thin, crispy crust, incredibly flavorful sauce, solid amount of cheese, cooked to a melty perfection.

Great place to go... All 3 of these slices plus a bottle of soda was under $20.

Highly recommend and will definitely...

I had am extremely unpleasant experience this evening. I hope the owner sees this aa the staff didn’t seem to care when I complained.

I started to call on Thursday January 16th at 5:10 pm to place an order for pickup. The phone kept ringing, and ringing with no answer. I tried again, no answer. I had to check online to see if this place went out of business. I called again after a few minutes and woman asked order and when i started to give order, she put me on hold. I waited several minutes and then she just picked up the phone and hung up. I called back and was put on hold again. A man picked up and took my order. When i went to complain man claimed he didn’t know who it was when there was only one female working at that time. They weren’t even especially busy. Unacceptable. Never heard of a pizzeria that didn’t care about...

Had a terrible experience here. The pizza isn’t cheap and it’s not very good. I ordered 2 slices and a can of soda and got charged nearly $16? Even at $5 a slice that doesn’t add up. Luckily I was with my friend who is more assertive than me who demanded a reconciliation. The cashier got defensive and it became clear he was trying to take advantage of me and got caught. He proceeded to basically throw two dollars back at me and told me to leave, and by the way, even with two dollars back I was still being overcharged. To add insult to injury the pizza was pretty bad. The crust was overdone. I got the pepperoni and the lasagna. The pepperoni was average at best and the lasagna was straight up bad pizza. They need to focus less on novelty flavors and more on the fundamentals. Bad pizza and worse than terrible service. Will never...

Keep on, Romano Pizza! I enjoyed a tasty, pleasant dine-in experience here a couple months ago. First, the location is awesome, situated in the vibrant, hip, bustling Kip’s Bay neighborhood of NY, and then Romano being on a corner, looking out at an energizing 3rd Avenue. It was awesome to be able to savor some slices while taking in the hustle of the city! So, for the slices! Well, let’s just say when it comes to NY pizza, at least in my opinion, it’s gotta satisfy: (1) crunchy crust, and (2) sweet, quality red sauce. Romano excelled in both! Furthermore, the staff were super chill and hardworking. And they do have a bathroom on site (i know right, in Manhattan, thank goodness!). Go today and experience a quality time for yourself!

Decided to stop by here. I saw how their regular slice was $3, and their Sicilian slice was $3.75. I liked how they had a lot of topping options for their slices, but I decided to go with a regular cheese slice and a regular Sicilian slice. I liked how fresh their pizza was and how big of a slice it was. Usually, the Sicilian slices have a similar amount of cheese to match the amount of dough, but to me, it felt like there was less cheese than usual. I would give the staff a 5, the regular slice a 5, and the Sicilian slice a 4. Overall, it's a pretty good spot, and I would recommend going here if you're looking for something a bit different from the dollar slices.
