I was hungry for something other than a sandwich or pizza and came across Sammy's. I ended up getting chicken and rice and did not know what to expect, but I was excited because it smells heavenly outside of the door. It was absolutely amazing! I usually don't like spicy food... But this was the perfect amount of spice that I could eat it and enjoy the flavor. Not to mention it was very cheap! I would definitely recommend and I will definitely go back.

Guys, I love you and your food is Amazing. But pls go back to the old boxes. This box you've had for at least 6 months with the partition on the middle is hugely inconvenient. No halal cart does this and it's not like you only serve portion sizes that fit the pockets. Pls just go back to a normal box. No compartments.

Went to this place at around midnight while visiting New York with my family for Father's Day, and it did not disappoint! You can get incredible food here for great prices anytime you want. The staff were very friendly and the chicken gyro was awesome. If I lived here I would order delivery from here regularly!

It is more like a halal cart but in a store, and there will be taxes. There are a lot of combos tho. Menu says they will have baklava and rice pudding, but to my surprise, there was no rice pudding. Maybe i just happened to be there on the wrong day xD. It's a nice little place with like like 7-8 chairs. Everything was nice except the fact that our clothes were stinking like curry all day after we left the place. It was weird. This never happened in any food places before. We absolutely didn't like this part, especially because we had other places to...

I was originally Jonesing for a Döner kebab. I walked to two different places only to find out none of them had Lamb. As I walked toward German Döner kebab, I noticed the food truck on 39th advertising lamb gyros. I decided if the German place didn't have lamb I was coming back. I'm glad I did. Friendly guys, extremely generour portions of - lamb! And the sauce was great. And the price was surprisingly low given the area and what other places are charging. Who comes all the way to NYC for chicken gyros?...

Customer service is a solid 10! One of the older guys told me “We don’t add fries on chicken over rice.” when I requested for fries on the side and the man next to him gave them anyways! Cashier was happy and hospitable.

The food did not meet my expectations necessarily. I would say below average. The quality of the food and overall taste reminded me of an outside gyro cart.

The location is cramped up and small; however it’s at the heart of New York City so what's to be expected? Convenient location...
