We wanted to come to Serena because we live nearby and always pass it. It’s usually crowded the decor looked chic.
Service was not bad but took a lot of flagging the waiters down to get anything. The food however was very average. The burrata was hard and the inside tasted like cream cheese rather than stracciatella. The bread was also cold.
The pastas were below average. We got the Arrabbiata and Alla Vodka. They were seasoned well and spicy but we probably could make a better pasta at home with store bought sauces.
The wine collection wasn’t that extensive either given it is a wine bar.

The hummus was a standout—served with fresh cucumbers, a delicious olive, and warm pita bread that was perfect for dipping. They also have a great wine selection, which made the experience even better.
The atmosphere is another highlight. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and it’s a treat to enjoy a glass of wine while people-watching outside—especially since many places no longer have outdoor setups after the city’s post-Covid regulations.
