I have been to Shara Makeup studio twice.

GRANDDAUGHTER First time was for my granddaughter who has a serious interest in makeup application. She went for a lesson from Shara on how to apply her makeup for a natural finish. She learned so much and loved every moment. She learned products, colors and the correct brushes. Shara taught and applied to an area then my granddaughter applied to that area. It was a back and forth lesson that was completely documented in writing at the end of the lesson. Shara was the best teacher. My granddaughter truly loved and appreciated the lesson.

ME I must admit I needed help. My makeup was trial and error. So many products. Wrong colors. Wrong applications. I looked okay but as my face has aged (65), I knew I needed professional advice and guidance. I received a 90 minute lesson from my husband as a gift. Best 90 minutes! I wanted to learn a day look and an evening look. Shara was phenomenal. Loved the outcome, the in-lesson practice and corrections, and the advice on colors.

LOVE the makeup confidence I walked away from the lesson with. Thank you Shara I highly recommend.

I can’t recommend Shara enough!

My husband and I took a makeup lesson together because he wanted to help me get ready for our wedding — we couldn’t find the right artist in Maui, and Shara’s work stood out because she focuses on enhancing people’s natural features in a subtle, thoughtful way.

And she did exactly that. She really understood my face shape and features, and showed me how to bring out what’s already there in a way that felt like me. I’ve always thought I needed to do more with my eye makeup, but this was the first time I felt confident with a much more natural look.

It was also my husband's first time doing makeup, and Shara made it such a comfortable and encouraging experience for him. He’s now practicing at home with the notes she shared — and honestly, he might already be better at it than I am 😂

She also helped me find the right shades for my skin tone, and I ended up getting several products from her own line — they’re amazing. The quality is great, and even my husband (who always checks every ingredient because I have sensitive skin) was impressed. Shara also helped incorporate a few of my existing products where they made sense, which I really appreciated.
