The most honest review you’ll find for this place.

My cousin, girlfriend, and I made an 8:45 PM reservation for high-chair seating to enjoy dinner on a rainy night. We arrived early at 8:40, only to be told our reserved seats were unavailable due to another party. We were asked to wait 10 minutes—but that party didn’t leave for another 30.

When we were finally seated elsewhere, nearby guests kept staring at us like we didn’t belong. Even the chef kept eyeing us the entire night with a strange, almost disgusted expression—and yes, we saw him vaping in the back between courses. Completely unprofessional.

To top it off, they brought out starters for three omakase sets before we had even ordered. We told them one person wasn’t doing omakase, yet we were still charged for it.

They also encourage guests to leave 5-star reviews in exchange for free mochi ice cream—so don’t be fooled by all the fake praise. If you’re looking for a respectful, quality dining experience,...

If you're a sushi lover, Shoshin 68 with Chef Yee is an absolute must-try! From the moment you walk in, you know you're in for something special. The freshness of the fish is unparalleled—each bite of sushi feels like a perfect harmony of flavors and textures.

The toro was an absolute standout—melt-in-your-mouth tender, buttery, and packed with incredible depth. But what truly blew me away was the scallop with uni. The sweetness of the perfectly seared scallop combined with the rich, creamy uni was nothing short of a revelation. It's the kind of dish that makes you pause, close your eyes, and savor every last bite.

Chef Yee's expertise and attention to detail shine through in every piece, making each dish not just a meal, but an experience. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or new to the scene, this spot will exceed all expectations. Super affordable! I can't...

I brought my girl here for a date and simply don't understand the positive reviews. The service was abysmal. An hour before we were set to be there, we received a text sitting. It was BYOB, so we had to track down alcohol.

When we got there, the chef was drinking the entire time. He must have interrupted us at least 6 times to "take a shot" while we were having an intimate conversation. Just asinine.

And there was three women next to us that were out of control screaming. Instead of intervening and telling them to calm down, he keep doing shots with them, which made them more belligerent. They started a fight with my date and the staff did nothing about it.

The food was force-fed to us every could minutes. They clearly were just trying to get us out of there to get the next party in - all in all, a horrible experience. Go to Blue Ribbon next door - it's phenomenal...

I had an amazing omakase experience at Shoshin! Chef Eric was fantastic!! Not only did he serve incredibly fresh sushi, but he also took the time to explain each piece in detail. The fish cuts were larger compared to other omakase spots, plus his friendly personality and great sense of humor made the whole experience fun and engaging. Our server, Ruby was super attentive, making sure our water and sake glasses were never empty. Her service truly elevated the experience. One of the highlights for me was the Spanish mackerel, it tasted noticeably different and better than at other places I’ve tried. Overall, everything was top-notch, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for an exceptional omakase!

We had such a great time at Shoshin68! We were seated immediately even though we had a large party and the server Ruby was quick and super attentive to everything we requested. We went on a Sunday and the chef Eric did a great job explaining each item on the course. He was also very accommodating to our preferences (i.e. one of us requested less rice, another requested less wasabi). The atmosphere was just so comfortable and chill it was such an amazing Sunday night activity for us to wind down and enjoy some delicious food. The course was also full of creative dishes like truffle infused seaweed! This place is going to be a regular for us for sure! Thank you to Chef Eric and Ruby for making our night special! :) <33
