I stopped at this bar about a month ago, and have been delaying this review because I never write reviews. But the fact that it still upsets me a month later is ridiculous. I have never been publicly humiliated before for "not tipping enough". Which is funny because I thought I tipped well each time I went to get drinks for me and a few friends. I personally treated most of them to drinks because it was my friends birthday so I know I tipped each time I went to get a round. But I guess it wasn't enough because after the 4th round when I went to close my tab the 2 bartenders were suddenly ignoring me. There were a few customers but not so many that we had to wait around 10-15 mins when he was attentive previously. But my issue is specifically with the hippie looking bartender, long hair, who was probably drunk. Because after trying to get his attention for 15 minutes, he says out loud from half way down the bar "hey just some advice, if you can't tip don't go out to drink" in front of everyone. So then I'm yelling at him to come over closer because I was genuinely like "he must be mistaken because I tipped all 4 times I went up" but no, he proceeded to ignore me at which point I was getting frustrated because again, I had an open tab. Out of no where he calls out for security, so now I feel like I'm getting kicked out for not tipping enough? And they have my credit card like. Eventually the other bartender closed out our tab, while the hippie looking one hid in the back or something like a little girl. and I didint make a bigger deal of it or called the manager just because it was my friends birthday and it had already taken them almost 30 min to close out my damn tab. This was so ridiculously infuriating and I think someone who shows up to work drunk and berating a customer in front of the whole bar...
Read moreSpritzenhaus33, an expansive temple dedicated to the convivial rites of communal libation, embraces the reveler with an ambience that marries rustic charm with industrial spaciousness. Here, the essence of a classic beer garden is reimagined—vast open areas punctuated by unpretentious seating under the watchful eyes of a scattered assembly, creating an ideal tableau for the orchestration of gregarious gatherings.
The establishment’s beer portfolio, while respectable, demands a tribute that may stretch the purse strings, reflecting a premium on the diverse elixirs offered within. Culinary offerings, though laudable in flavor, present a Spartan challenge in portion size, juxtaposing gastronomic pleasure against fiscal prudence.
Central to its character, a stately fireplace stands as a beacon of warmth, both literal and metaphorical, flanked by playful sets of jenga that invite a light-hearted engagement amidst the stoic timbers. The staff, guardians of the draught, conduct their ministrations with a detached efficiency, subtly guiding patrons towards a generosity perhaps unearned, with a default gratuity setting that raises eyebrows as often as it empties wallets.
Spritzenhaus33 thus serves as a sanctum for those seeking to forge memories in large assemblies, its halls echoing with the laughter of celebrants partaking in casual festivity, though it offers little beyond the fundamental joys of shared experience and...

I came to this bar in the afternoon with my wife and my service dog, simply looking to relax and have a drink. What we encountered instead was deeply disappointing and frankly unlawful.
At the entrance, the bouncer (a Black male, for identification purposes only) checked our IDs, which is standard. However, he then interrogated me about my service dog, first asking, “What service does your dog provide?” — a question that is permissible under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). But then he crossed a legal and ethical line by demanding, “Can you show me your dog performing the service?”
Let me be clear: this is illegal under the ADA, which explicitly prohibits businesses from requiring documentation, certification, or demonstration of a service dog’s tasks. His actions were discriminatory, harassing, and unacceptable.
After this encounter, we chose not to enter — and I’m glad we didn’t. Looking through other reviews, it’s clear this place has a pattern of rudeness and poor customer service. This was not a one - off experience.
If you are a person with a disability, or just someone who respects basic human decency, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. There are far better bars in the area that know how to treat all guests...
