Outstanding sushi experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and efficiency. The service was impeccable, with staff attending to my needs promptly and with a smile. The sushi itself was a revelation - fresh, expertly prepared, and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a delightful journey of taste and texture.

Moreover, the efficiency of the service ensured that I was able to enjoy my meal without any unnecessary delays. This establishment truly understands the value of time and ensures that customers are served promptly without sacrificing quality.

In addition to their stellar sushi offerings, I was pleased to discover that they have a diverse menu catering to various tastes. While I haven't had the chance to explore beyond their sushi selection yet, I am eager to return and sample more of their offerings.

Overall, I can confidently say that this place earns a perfect score of 10/10. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or simply craving a delicious meal, I highly recommend giving this establishment a try. You won't be...

Great rolls for a great price! Friendly staff. Thank you. Only complaint: need more (healthy) beverage choices, not just soda and water. But i'll definitely stop by again when I'm around 7thAve/20thSt. Five stars.

EDIT: The last time I visited this place was in July of 2020. It was hot, they had no air conditioning and the sushi I got was warm, so most likely their fridge was broken. I don’t think it’s a good idea to sell warm seafood. I understand that restaurants are going thru some difficult times now thanks to the pandemic, but serving unhealthy and potentially dangerous food is not a good way to keep your business running. I won’t be back for awhile. 3 stars because I used to...

If your only experience of tempura is greasy and poorly breaded, head to Sushi 21 for a reboot. The vegetable tempura has just enough breading to house the crispy vegetable interior. The tempura and soups are served fresh and hot, except of course for the Sushi which is rolled fresh to order in practically every combination of fish or vegetable. Bento Boxes provide variety at a lunch special price. Service is very good for either take-out or dine-in at one of the very few tables tucked into the corners. The smaller space can become a little noisy and hectic, so for an intimate meal it may not be your best choice - but for other times add this Sushi restaurant...

Ordered the Dynamite Roll and the Black Pepper Tuna Roll. Second time ordering the Dynamite Roll; I really like the crisp crunch. Their rolls are also a lot less expensive as compared to other sushi spots nearby. Their Chef’s Special Rolls and Lunch Roll Specials are definitely worth it. Also, I went out on a limb and in the notes section of my order asked for “a side of Lao Gan Ma chilli oil to mix in with a side of soy sauce”, and they actually included it! Mixing those two sides pictured made for some pretty blissful bites. All in all, really good.

I work in the area & went during my lunch break around 1pm, so the place was empty. The welcoming wasn’t so warm lol, I still placed an order. I ordered Shrimp tempura. It was Good but the place looks unsanitary. At each table there were bottles of hand sanitizers but near the pump was visibly dirty. I hadn’t noticed any of this until after I ordered which is why I took my rolls to go. I took a few photos, not to bash them but in hopes that maybe they’ll make it look more presentable

this place is full of nostalgia for me, my graduate school program is nearby and I used to come here for lunch all the time. Fast forward to the present, 7 years have gone by and they are still here! Same chef and cashier. It looks like they have survived the pandemic and going strong. Same deco, same price, same taste. They could probably use a renovation. Very good small sushi restaurant!
