An AMAZING Experience!
We took an entire week off to visit/graze our way through NYC. In preparation for the trip, we did some research ahead of time. My husband knows I love coffee at all hours and it has to be really great coffee (or else heâll have a grumpy nagging wife - haha) During his research and looking through a few food blogs, he found 10,000 Coffee. It wasnât far from the our hotel so we had plans to stop by after a trip to Wall Street.
To our surprise, they had a small location on Wall Street and we were so thrilled we found ourselves entering the shop without a second thought! The shop was bright white, extremely clean, and well lit. The staff immediately welcomed us in and answered all our questions. We ordered the Einspänner, Espresso cream latte, and the purple sweet potato latter for the kiddos (had no caffeine). It was all amazing! Our absolute favorite was the Einspänner - creamy coffee goodness! My kids absolutely loved their purple sweet potato latte and it was so cute seeing them beam with pride as they sipped from their own âcoffee cupsâ :) This location is small with no seating area inside. There is a single table and a single chair right outside the shop. But we didnât mind, we continued our stroll through wall street while sipping away.
The next morning, we visited their location on time square and the experience was extremely different - the staff was not attentive and each of our drinks tasted watered down. It was rather disappointing. My son who is 9 also said his purple sweet potato tasted different.
We had plans to be back at battery park a day later and made it a point to visit the wall street location again. I also knew that I wanted to bring home coffee beans as gifts for our friends and family. We knew we had to have the Einspänner one last time before leaving and it had to be made properly to satisfy our craving. Upon arriving at the Wall Street location, we were immediately greeted by Jonatan and Amparo. They made our Einspänner and purple sweet potato lattes absolutely perfect! As a treat each of our 2 kids got their own lattes instead of sharing and they had both finished it so quickly! We were excited to purchase 10 bags of their New York blend to share with friends and family back home because the coffee is so good! Thank you Jonatan and Amaparo for your kindness and assistance with purchasing the beans and a huge thank you for rounding out our New York experience with your excellent barista skills and customer service! Best coffee in town and a must try for everyone in New York - but make sure you get the best experience by stopping by the Wall...
Read moreIâve been here three times and will be net return after todayâs experience. 1sttime here, I had an EINSPANNER- it was delicious. 2nd visit last Saturday-pouring rain out- I ran here to make it before they closed. I work nearby. I walk in to the rudest baristas. Was told they were closing in 15 minutes and that there were no hot beverages available please keep in mind. It was 30° out so I was not looking to purchase an iced beverage but bought one anyway since it was my work break and I had no time to go elsewhere. I asked for a cup of water she rudely gave me not even half a cup, as if it was coming out of her pocket or something. 3rd visit- petite young lady at register rude AF. Told me no iced beverages or hot beverages available except for their premade Matcha or strawberry milk. I left.
Get it together people. This ainât your only location- you should know how much coffee you need for...

They have a few locations in the city: Midtown East, West, and one in Wall Street. I've only been to the Wall Street location, and it's small but beautifully decorated insideâclean and chic. It's a grab-and-go spot.
I tried their Purple Sweet Potato Latte, and it tasted just like sweet potato. It's on the sweeter side. This isn't your everyday coffee shop, as it's a bit pricey at around $7 per coffee, but I would definitely come back to try their other drinks. I'm especially curious about the Einnspanner, also known as Tiramisu Latte, and the Jeju Tangerine Matchaid, which sounds...
