Horrible server-manager-bartender ( it’s all one person on that day!) Came here to have some food and drinks during one of beautiful day during fall. The waiter named Josh ( tall guy with long hair) came to us, took our order. Food came first , drinks after. Ok I understand it was busy and seemed like he only one who was working there for that day … but we kindly asked if we can have some silverware and he gave us attitude without anything being said to him back. The food was really good and we wanted to order more but instead of that he brought us check and told us to leave without any explanation. My partner was trying to get any answers but he was being a pus🐈sy and start yelling at us … very disrespectful and disappointed about our visit to this place

I came to The Copper Still on a whim looking for a chill place to grab a burger and some drinks. Does not disappoint. The burger was excellently flavored. Not too much lettuce or tomato on the bun. And the fries were so good I ordered another side of them when I closed my check. The servers were attentive and the drinks came very fast. Only minor complaint is that my burger came out well and I ordered it medium. That said, it was seasoned so well, it barely mattered. I would come back to check out their wings and happy hour. Thanks!

As a fan of Kentucky Bourbon Ale this is one of the few places that carries it. They have the largest east coast account for Kentucky Bourbon Ale. Also a great happy hour. Mellow chill spot located in the St. Mark's area in the lower east side of Manhattan.Their Chisito peppers are delicious for a snack.

We decided to check out The Copper Still for drinks and snacks on a Friday night, meeting up for a double date with another couple. One couple came from East Harlem, the other from Brooklyn, so the East Village seemed like the perfect halfway point. The city was buzzing with energy—it was the first nice Friday of 2025, and the vibe in the air was fantastic.

We arrived around 7 pm and initially sat at the bar, but soon noticed an empty table outside. The weather was unusually warm for April, so we moved to the outdoor table to make the most of it. Unfortunately, this is where things went south. The waitress for the outdoor section didn’t seem thrilled that we had chosen the table, and when we asked for water, she rolled her eyes, but eventually brought it over.

A few minutes later, we tried to place a food order with her. We also mentioned that we had an open tab at the bar and would be happy to close it out based on her recommendations. Instead of a polite response, she snapped, "Go order yourself from the bar." We were shocked by how rude and dismissive she was. After that, she never came back to check if we needed anything else—no offer for more drinks, no inquiry about a food order. We were completely ignored.

We flagged down the manager to address the situation, and while he apologized, he explained that the waitress was "having a bad day." However, he didn't offer any further resolution or attempt to make things right. It's a shame, because with so many other bars and restaurants to choose from in NYC, we had high hopes for this place. Ultimately, we decided to leave and had a great time at other nearby spots. Sadly, this experience means we won’t be returning to The...

You probably think you're a New Yorker... That's awesome! Pat on the back there for ya kiddo. Why not take the pretentiousness out of that label... Here? You're always welcomed... And you might even see a celeb!

Overwhelmed by the "Big City"?! Swing by the Still. Don't understand dark liquor or whiskey? Try out the bartender reccos at the still. Looking for a place to banter with friends? Bring them by the Still. Just want to pick a corner and have a solitary premium - arguably top 5 - Guinness this side of the pond? There are 4 clutch spots in... You guessed it. The still.

This isn't Disney Land but the comradery you feel when you walk in the door is immediately backed up by the quality of the homey and -i'll be it - consice menu. The fries are flawless, the lamb burger is phenomenally approachable, and the chef even brings in his own zucchini spiral thing to make you whatever vegan idea he has at one of the newest Irish pub hangouts in the whole City.

Bottom line, you should fee left out if you haven't been there yet... But you WILL feel welcomed every time you walk through that door.

See ya at the...

Used to be a really fun local bar with a good happy hour. Over the past year the staff has turned over too many times to count. The ever rotating menagerie of bartenders and waitresses have been of lower and lower quality these past few months.

The place is rarely even 1/2 full except for the weekends now. They don't even play the radio. It's weird they are going for depressing dive bar vibes, I don't know who that appeals to, but it doesn't seem to be working well for them.

The last time I was in there, which will probably be my last time ever, there was a middle aged man with a child who could not have been older than 10. He got her a order of french fries, then proceed to get absolutely sloshed on beer and whiskey. What bar over serves like that, AND allows a child inside? It was also about 4pm in the afternoon while this...
