RUN don’t walk!
The little Bookshop is going to be one of those hidden gems until someone posts them in New York locals. They have very reasonably priced delicious coffee and drinks, made by very attentive baristas.
The cafe is family owned and you will see the whole family there throughout the week which brings a community vibe that is much needed in the ever gentrifying Williamsburg area.
They are still getting their footing since they just opened this summer but they are very open to ideas, feedback, and advice to make the experience the best it can be.
As for the bathrooms, yes they are for customers only but if you are a regular, make an effort to connect, or pop in often then you shouldn’t have an issue. You can also be polite and ask…
They just added breakfast sandwiches and are adding more food options! Including plant based alternatives. So they are only getting started and I expect will find a beautiful rhythm in the coming months.
And for the people who are confused about the bookshop cafe concept, it’s just like a Barnes and Noble but cafe focused instead of bookstore focused, so please give some grace as they won’t have EXACTLY the book you are looking for but a curated selection of meaningful and popular books. They truly go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable in the space. The drinks are amazing, and the food is phenomenal. The perfect place to come with a good friend or good book or the perfect place to find a good friend...
Read moreLovely new bookstore cafe run by a family, with the friendliest staff. I've visited 3x in the last week. Very convenient as well to grab something to go, since it's right by the Montrose L train.
Iced coffees and iced matcha are sooo good. We tried a sample of the stew too, and we will need to come back for a full serving on a cooler day because it was delicious!
Recommend giving them a visit, have a chat, and stay a while. Plenty of seating here too. 🤗 Feels like home hanging out here to sip,...
