NYC’s weather is getting brutally COLD, but this new Brooklyn bookshop is reaching new levels of warm n’ cozy by serving up some incredible homemade soup 🥰 We highly recommend checking out The Little Bookstore in Williamsburg to grab a book and stay warm this winter! 📍@The Little Bookshop - 239 Bushwick Ave, East Williamsburg . #nyc #nycbookstores #bookstore #booktiktok #goodsoup

RUN don’t walk! The little Bookshop is going to be one of those hidden gems until someone posts them in New York locals. They have very reasonably priced delicious coffee and drinks, made by very attentive baristas. The cafe is family owned and you will see the whole family there throughout the week which brings a community vibe that is much needed in the ever gentrifying Williamsburg area. They are still getting their footing since they just opened this summer but they are very open to ideas, feedback, and advice to make the experience the best it can be. As for the bathrooms, yes they are for customers only but if you are a regular, make an effort to connect, or pop in often then you shouldn’t have an issue. You can also be polite and ask… They just added breakfast sandwiches and are adding more food options! Including plant based alternatives. So they are only getting started and I expect will find a beautiful rhythm in the coming months. And for the people who are confused about the bookshop cafe concept, it’s just like a Barnes and Noble but cafe focused instead of bookstore focused, so please give some grace as they won’t have EXACTLY the book you are looking for but a curated selection of meaningful and popular books. You can even make requests! Not affiliated with them in any sense I just live nearby and have been going since they opened and have fallen in love. They also make a macchiato correctly, see the photo included.

Lovely new bookstore cafe run by a family, with the friendliest staff. I've visited 3x in the last week. Very convenient as well to grab something to go, since it's right by the Montrose L train. Iced coffees and iced matcha are sooo good. We tried a sample of the stew too, and we will need to come back for a full serving on a cooler day because it was delicious! Recommend giving them a visit, have a chat, and stay a while. Plenty of seating here too. 🤗 Feels like home hanging out here to sip, sit and read.

My favorite cafe in the city. Actually, it's honestly one of my favorite places in the city. It's family-run, and everyone is so, so nice and welcoming. They truly go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable in the space. The drinks are amazing, and the food is phenomenal. I live just around the corner, and everyone I recommend it to talks about how much they love it there.

They have a small but expanding book selection, and it's clear that what they have has been thoughtfully picked, giving something for everyone. When I bought a book for my roommate's birthday, they went out of their way to wrap it and make it truly beautiful to give them.

The perfect place to come with a good friend or good book or the perfect place to find a good friend...
