DISAPPOINTED ABOUT TIPSY ICE CREAM………Let me 1st say this, I do not do reviews but I had to do this one. I got to tipsy ice cream shop after driving for one and a half hour, only to find two dogs 😟😟(1small N1 big) sitting inside. So I waited outside as I’m very very scared of dogs, after about 20 minutes my friend went in to find out if the dogs belong to the shop or a customer? 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️Reason it looks like it was the shop dogs and the big one had urinated on the floor. 😳😳Sitting outside wondering why isn’t it being cleaned up 🤮as customers are going in but walking back out. At that time we realized it’s one server, who told my friend that they belonged to customer, who is getting ready to leave any minute now. Ok thanks but we stood outside waiting for another 15-20 minutes as the two customers stand there with the dogs looking back at us smiling like it’s funny. So we decided to leave so they can leave the store, as it’s only fair after such long drive to taste this famous ice cream . We leave and as we’re half way down the block they walked out with their dogs. We eventually returned despite the fact we had changed our mind, especially with the dogs shaking their skin (hair flying) and the urine on the floor but the floor was cleaned up and I was kinda happy.👏🏾👏🏾 . I had the cake batter whiskey 👎🏿👎🏿and the chocolate bourbon 👎🏿👎🏿 I think it is! Don’t remember what my friend had but I know one was hazelnut something with another flavor, which she said was nothing spectacular about. Not going that far ever again for such thing. Ruined 😡 my Sunday evening. #VERYDISAPPOINTEDCUSTOMER #FALSEADVERTISEMENT #EXPENSIVEFORNOREASON I wasn’t given options on anything so I can’t say, I also noticed it’s not for kids, which I think is not fair especially on Sunday evening and family do come out to treat their kids. Only one or two flavors for the kids. One little girl was upset because she wanted the one of the glass cup sundae but couldn’t have....
Read moreI stumbled upon this delightful ice cream shop in Williamsburg, and I can confidently say it's a hidden treasure for anyone looking to indulge in a unique and delicious treat. I tried the vanilla cone with sprinkles infused with liquor, and it was an absolute taste sensation!
The combination of velvety vanilla ice cream and a generous sprinkle of colorful sprinkles, all infused with a touch of liquor, was pure genius. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the liquor added a delightful twist without overpowering the classic ice cream taste.
What sets this place apart is not just the creativity in flavors but also the quality of their ice cream. It was incredibly creamy and had that homemade texture that I adore. You can tell they put a lot of care and thought into their creations.
The staff were friendly and helpful, ready to answer any questions and make recommendations. The cozy ambiance of the shop made it a great spot to enjoy my ice cream, and they even had outdoor seating for a sunny day.
If you're in Williamsburg and looking for a unique dessert experience, I highly recommend trying their liquor-infused ice cream. It's a delightful treat that combines the best of both worlds – delicious ice cream and a touch of spirited fun. I'll definitely be returning to sample more of their...
Read moreIce-cream fantasy come true!! I have to admit to being a little wary of these tipsy treats because of previous reviews that stated one can't actually taste any alcohol. I could not disagree more!!
I had a flight with a Mango Margarita, Tequila Mexican Hot Chocolate, Spiked Hazelnut Coffee, Margarita Sorbet. I loved every single one, even the Spiked Hazelnut which was a little bland for me was still tasty. Personally, I didn't think the ice-creams needed the toppings, they were great all on their own. However, they made for a gorgeous presentation of the flight.
Not only would I return to this hideaway heaven, I hate them a little inside because I can see Tipsy Scoop taking more of my money that I would like in the coming months.
This is a cute little spot. It's not tiny, but could definitely get crowded on a hot summer day. But if you're lucky, as I was today, you can catch a window seat to people watch as you cool down.
The pleasant gentleman behind the counter was very knowledgeable! I was able to just tell him my favored drinks and flavors and he picked the perfect treats for me to sample in my flight.
I'll be back to Tipsy Scoop soon .... even though I couldn't resist taking...
