It has been quite a long time since I was this disappointed in my sweets, but unfortunately that is how devastating this was. I waited quite a while to try this place too! I am super understanding to when businesses and bakeries have first open jitters. I understand you need time to cater to your crowd and see what they like. Though today had nothing to do with missing my personal preference mark, but it had everything to do with irresponsibility. I do not know who was directly responsible which is why I am being kind enough to give it two stars to encourage you guys to get up to standard as a team. In other words I'm giving you guys the benefit of the doubt, so here I'd what was wrong.

Your croissant that I requested to be lightly toasted was raw in the middle. If you cut it open to toast it you would've seen that but seeing how it arrived cold and not even the slightest bit warm I negated that you followed any requested instruction at all.

Your Pistachio Short Bread Cookie and your 2 Cinnabuns tasted of garlic salt, and it was so overwhelming I wpuld have thought it was garlic snot if not for the crystaline crunch here and there during my chewing. I don't know what it crossed with but in the end that is an allergy hazard begging to happen.

Your brownies taste like the metal baking sheet they were baked in and there are remnants of payment paper on their edged.

I asked for a large Cappuccino with special instructions. I know you could charge me for my preferences, but in case you you couldnt i gave you plenty of wiggle room. Meaning I at least expected half and half and sugar to not be an extra charge, but seeing how my adorably small cup is nearly as black as it's origin I'm not sure what happened. My main concern is that the cup was neither bagged nor wrapped or even double capped. The only thing done to it was a simple spill plug.

Unfortunately that was my whole order for my breakfast. Before disputing it it cost me 41 dollars and 78 cents. You see the images, I have no desire to rob you. You have permission to ask grubhub about my previous 10 orders before yours which happened in consecutive days if you'd like. I...

Gina was a no-show the day of my event.

I ordered custom cupcakes for a birthday party and requested delivery to the party location, which I paid extra for. Prior to the event everything was confirmed and all the details finalized in the invoice (total was ~$270), and I paid the 50% deposit.

The day of the event I noticed the delivery was running a little late, and tried to message Gina to ask where the cupcakes were. I received no communication whatsoever, Gina was not responding to email, phone, or instagram dms. I never received the cupcakes, which were supposed to be the highlight of the party.

It was such a crushing disappointment, I was so excited about these cupcakes and I was telling all my friends about it, only to be ghosted by Gina the day of the event. This is absolutely no way to run a business.

Please think twice about ordering from here, this business is extremely unreliable.

Update: Gina said there was "confusion" around scheduling, which doesn't make sense since the date, time, and location were all written correctly on the invoice. She offered a free pie and $50 gift card but said I would have to pick it up myself the Tuesday before Thanksgiving (during the work day, when I'm unavailable). The service...

A Magical Cake That Sparked Dreams – Thank You, Wildflour! I recently celebrated my sister’s birthday, and we decided to get her cake from Wildflour Bakery. I’ve always heard great things, but nothing could have prepared me for the experience we had. From the very first bite, it was clear: this wasn’t just a cake—it was pure magic. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the texture was dreamy, and every detail was crafted with so much love and artistry. It wasn’t just delicious; it was the kind of cake that makes you pause and savor each bite, wishing the moment could last forever. But here’s the part that surprised me most: somewhere between the laughter and the candlelight, this cake made me think about my own future. I found myself imagining my own special occasions—maybe even my wedding—and hoping that Wildflour would be there to make those days just as magical. Thank you, Wildflour, for creating something truly extraordinary. Your cake didn’t just make my sister’s birthday unforgettable—it inspired me to dream about the beautiful moments yet to come. If you’re looking for a cake that’s more than just dessert, Wildflour is the...

My husband and I were so happy to find WildFlour in LIC a few months before our wedding! We were initially on the fence about getting a wedding cake, but as soon as we met Gina for our tasting, we knew we needed to have a WildFlour cake. We loved the unique, modern, and (most importantly) delicious cake/frosting options - it was hard to choose, but we ended up doing a champagne vanilla cake with champagne & honey lavender buttercream for our wedding cake. (For what it’s worth, my husband is not a cake/dessert person, but he loved the WildFlour cakes. His direct quote: “Best cake I have ever had”) Leading up to our wedding, Gina was super responsive and accommodating with a couple of changes we wanted to make. On the day of our wedding, Gina coordinated her delivery with my florist so that she could decorate the cake with fresh flowers. The end result was beautiful and the cake was incredible! (In fact, we ended up eating the top tier of our cake the day after our wedding because there was no way we could wait a year.) We are so happy to have Gina in LIC and will look forward to ordering many more desserts from her in the near future!

WildFlour is such a neighborhood gem. We love Gina's homemade pastries and sandwiches. And now, we also love her wedding cakes! Gina made the wedding cake of our dreams! Gina was so helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. At our tasting, we had difficulty choosing between cake flavors and buttercream options. We ended up choosing a crowd favorite for the actual wedding cake (lemon cake with lemon curd and honey lavender buttercream). Gina suggested making us 2 mini cakes with our individual favorite flavor combinations (vanilla bean cake with blackberry preserves and salted bourbon buttercream + vanilla champagne cake with cherry preserves and almond buttercream). Best idea ever. On our wedding night, we ate our personal cakes while resting our feet after dancing the night away! We're planning to get mini cakes each year for our anniversary.
