Came here for a "free tasting" event that they were hosting so that people could try their menu items... I didn't have much expectations going in since the description they gave for the event was pretty vague. Upon entering, they told us (we were a group of 4) that we'd be trying a sampler of each item on their menu and that if we wanted to buy the normal size portion or drinks, we had the option to. They also told us that we would get a tour of the venue after our samplers.
We sat down and the waiter gave us samplers (x2) of a few of the appetizers. This wasn't even all of the appetizers that they had on the menu. The menu had about 12 appetizers and atleast 15+ main entree items. We got to try around 5 of the appetizers on the menu. After we finished the 1st set of samples, we were expecting them to come back to give us different menu items next. Our tables were cleared and our waters stayed filled but every time we flagged someone down to ask about more samples, they just said "we'll get you a few more soon" or "it just comes out randomly". WE WAITED NEARLY 1 HOUR FOR MORE SAMPLES AND NEVER GOT MORE AFTER THE 1ST ROUND PICTURED!!! We watched as other tables were getting a few more here and there but they kept dismissing our table even though we kept asking different servers. Maybe it was because we didn't buy anything??? But this was advertised as a FREE tasting and they told us that we'd be trying the whole menu so we sat down with that expectation!!!! It felt like they bait and switched us and then started ignoring us after we didn't order anything extra because we only got to try a few items. Maybe we would have ordered food if we got to try what they tasted like since that was the purpose of the event???
Also, I want to mention that they are overpriced. Their menu is giving Manhattan prices. $20 for a cocktail.
After we didn't want to wait anymore, we decided to do the tour since we were already there. We got a tour of the venue (given to us by the owner) which was really nice and spacious. I must say the venue is very big and gives speakeasy vibes. They are 420 friendly and allow smoking on the upper level/outside patio area. There was a bar underground and a hookah lounge on the upper level. The venue itself was the only positive thing about this entire experience. At the end of the tour, we asked if they had any papers. They took forever getting us papers and then when they finally brought it out to us, they charged us $5 for a half used pack of papers.... Like seriously?? We sat down on the outside back patio trying to roll up and one of the staff came up to me and told me I couldn't sit on the table outside. Then they kept coming up to us and giving us menus to buy bottles and being pushy about the menu. We hadn't planned on staying so this made me really annoyed and uncomfortable.
The place and owner is sleazy and grimey. I will only come back if someone else is paying for me. Otherwise,...
Read moreCame here with a couple friends for a night out after hearing about their soft opening happening this past Saturday and WOW. Partake seriously delivered! I see you LIC!!!
We started downstairs and sat at the bar to get our first drinks and CHEFS KISS they HIT!!! We were all super hype to go upstairs after and ended up spending the rest of the night on the rooftop — the vibe up there is immaculate. Great energy, all I can say is… this place didn’t skip ANY OF THE DETAILS. Every element was WELL THOUGHT OUT. Elevated at every turn.
The drinks were so good — dangerously good. Every cocktail we tried was smooth, flavorful, and way more thought-out than your typical rooftop spot. Definitely caught a little buzz quicker than expected because I was trying to taste the entire cocktail menu. 😂
The bartenders were super friendly and clearly knew what they were doing. You can tell they actually enjoy making cocktails — it shows.
We also ordered a few food items to share — and let me just say, this is not one of those places where the food is an afterthought. Everything came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The spinach artichoke dip, roasted beets & American Wagyu burger were AMAZING!!!
Everyone working here was cool, attentive, and had great energy. Between the bottle girls and the servers to the bartenders and hosts!! No attitude, no weird rushed service — just good people who made the night even better. I can’t wait to come in here for their grand opening and pop bottles. For real. This place is like NO OTHER.
Honestly, we came in just looking for somewhere new to try, and left already planning the next visit.

Read moreThis spot is mind-blowing 🤯. You’ve never seen anything like it. Multiplex vibes with 2 to 3 different club settings, a restaurant, dispensary, double rooftop decks, outdoor movie theater screen, VIP valet parking, all in one place. Over 18,000 sq ft of pure experience.
I truly believe this is about to become a major tourist destination in NYC. There’s nothing else like it out here. The bartenders and staff? Super chill, friendly, and on point. The vibe overall was laid-back but still lit. Each floor had its own theme. If you wanna turn up, go upstairs. If you’re on a chill vibe, the rooftop is the move. Wanna smoke? They got designated spots and someone who’ll roll up for you 😭💨.
I pulled up for the soft opening. Rico and his wife were welcoming as always. The food? Straight 5-star. I had the roasted beets with feta, lasagna, scampi shrimp, and piña coladas that hit every time.
What’s wild is I remember when this place was just an empty shell. Rico built it from the ground up. This is NYC Kakes 9.0, and while the original Kakes was dope, this right here? Different level. Partake is extreme. Beat next level. Hard to even explain. You just gotta experience it....
