With Others — Restaurant in New York

One of the best wine bars I've been to in the city! This place has such an effervescent atmosphere, everyone around me was having an amazing time and the staff were so friendly. Esteban gave me a great recommendation with their chilled red wine, but I'm sure everything on their wine list would've blown me away. With Others felt like a great place to not only enjoy good wine, food, and vibes with your friends, but also come away from the experience knowing more about wine as well! Also UGH their crab toast was SO GOOD. Had a chance to speak briefly with the manager Keith and the owner Shanna and they couldn't have been nicer people; you could really sense the pride they have in the establishment and definitely made me feel welcome and at home even though I was there by myself just to check out a new spot in the neighborhood :) Cannot wait to go back, especially when the weather is nicer so I can sit outside on their beautiful, spacious patio! Unprofessional and rude flustered staff, name forgotten off waitlist, asked four times if our order was taken, poor selection of wine by the glass, blatantly ignored by staff when asked to switch tables, staff poured the wrong wine after sampling, all this to order two glasses….one of the worst experiences ever in hospitality. I wish I was making this up.

Advice to management: hire or work on training your front of house and pay them more money, this weird tag team service you have going on between staff has to go, hire some people who work well under pressure, don’t crack, and don’t outwardly express their hate for you and the job, get rid of the tables that spill out onto bedford ave—it’s not pretty out there and you end up being run over by foot traffic.

Absolutely LOVE this wine bar BUT there just one issue. This is a great chill spot to grab some drinks with friends with no frills and good vibes.

The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because it is incredibly loud in there. They need some sound paneling or something to keep the noise down. I’ve been 3 times and I always sit at the bar and I always struggle hearing what the servers are saying. I even struggle talking to my partner who is sitting right beside me. I’d like to think I have great hearing for someone in his 30’s.

Again, great bar, just way way wayy too loud that conversations just become noise. Can only be there 30-45 min max. But as soon as they add some paneling or more art to keep the noise from bouncing, this would definitely be the perfect spot for...
