Oslo Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in New York

Oslo is a great, very simple café. Given the lack of seating, this isn't a place to go and work on a computer or catch up with friends. But if you're just looking for coffee (drink or beans), this is the best place in the neighborhood.

Each time I've gone, I've encountered some of the best service. The people behind the counter are very laid-back and easy going. I've ordered usually the same thing, either a pound of Thor or Freya.

I was Looking for a good local place for a decent espresso roast and after trying a double shot I bought 1 12oz bag of their roast at $14 with the double shot I ordered on the house. The gentleman behind the counter was nice enough, the place was clean and had a calm atmosphere. A very small place though so groups here wouldn't be the greatest idea. Leadership/owners should know that the staff at this location DGAF. This location is on my way home from my morning runs, and it’s a 50/50 shot that they are open by even 8AM, even though hours are 7:30. When they are open, the staff are lazy and rude (“i haven’t had a chance to put the pastries out, and no I can’t go get you one I’m busy making the coffee”).
