1 million stars...such an amazing event...Never heard of this place before. Didn't even know they only have German food......PreGame HeadQuarters for Seton Hall was here... Went here to show support for The first big game of the season against Michigan State. They had an open bar and appetizers.. This is my new spot for all the home games this season. (Update: Floor seats!!!! I got a picture of the back of Tom Izzo's head check the insta) (Update #2: pretty good deal overall... Floor Seats + Pregame Event + Donation to SHU fund came out to about $500) Nice big restaurant. Next to the Prudential Center. Looks like this place holds alot of events for games at the Prudential Center.. Appetizers were great!!! Just found out that pretty much every German dish on the menu comes with like 10 lbs of sausage. Ive never seen soo many people eat so much sausage in one place before. Not a fan. Drinks here were good..I had the Pirate Blue (see pictures).. I was pretty good...Drank alot of beer... Solid night overall. Only downside was that I booked these tickets before "the injury." But SHU is still #12 in the country for now and as long as they beat Nova this season, I'll be happy. (Update: Powell played. Best player in the nation) Clean restaurant, good beer, solid customer service and next to the Prudential Center. I would recommend this place. #12 in the whole country!!!!!!!

The food is not good at all. We got here around 5pm before a concert at Prudential. It wasn't very busy then so we had some drinks at the bar while waiting for the rest of the group to get there. The bartender was really nice and helped explain the setup to us. Around 5:45 the place started getting insanely busy so we quickly found our way to the back room to find a table. A waitress came along and took our order. You have to give a credit card before you can order food. The waitress can also bring you drinks but it's probably faster to just get them yourself from the bar. When the food is ready a buzzer the waitress gave you goes off. Then you have to navigate your way through hoardes of people to the pickup window. This might be ok on a day when there isn't an event at Prudential but not when it's busy. It took me three trips to get everything back to the table. Our order wasn't even right. The guy at the window tried to tell me that I only ordered one appetizer. In reality I had two appetizers and three entrees. You don't have a receipt at this point even though you've been charged so you have no proof of what you ordered. Trust me when I say the quality of the food is nowhere near the effort required to obtain the food. Everything basically tasted like it was frozen and came out of a box. The pretzel was the only thing that appeared to be fresh-ish. The dipping sauce was basically watery mustard though so that took away from it. The Mac and cheese bites, potato pancakes and grilled chicken were all basically something you could buy from Walmarts frozen food section. The kielbasa wasnt really kielbasa either. More of a frozen sausage link on rye bread. The food was definitely very disappointing. We paid the very confusing bill and got the heck out of there. I felt bad for the tons of people waiting on a long line to just order their food when it was already 7pm and the show started at 8. At that point it probably would have been cheaper and easier to just buy some overpriced food from Prudential itself. Definitely go really early if you want to stand a chance of getting a seat and actually being able to finish your food before an event at Prudential.

Popped in for lunch while visiting for a concert & devils games. The place itself is great! Was really impressed with their photos, decor, and overall appearance. Truly thought we'd love the place. We sat at the bar, and there were maybe 6 others in the place. Immediately greeted and took our order. Ordered nachos - which were really chips covered in BBQ pork toped with old lettuce and old jalapeños. The BBQ was good, but the overall plate was at minimum 2/10. Motz sticks were not fully cooked, so we were unable to enjoy those. After we had our initial order taken, however, we were not spoken to again. We were not asked how our food was, especially noticeably that it wasn't being eaten. No ask of drink refills, not even water. We ended up chatting with a couple who sat next to us, so we were hanging out there for a bit, again with absolutely zero service still. It took me almost 15 minutes to get someone's attention for my check, which was a whole different girl. I noticed they already added a 10% to their checks, and I did see the sign but was frustrated as it wasn't busy, and the service was terrible and did not deserve an automated tip. Overall, this experience was a 1 star experience. However, after cody johnson, we popped in since the other bar was packed. I didn't catch his name, but he ended up making our second experience there way better. He was welcoming, chit chatting with us, and checked in a few times while we hung out. I didn't explain my experience earlier, but I did ask about the 20% automatic tip for events. He explained it added on for purposes like a concert but doesn't apply until the evening or nighttime. I asked a time frame, and he said normally after 4. This frustrated me more as we were there and left before 4pm. Essentially, we shut down the bar with him and a few others that night, and he made up for bad experience earlier that day.

Excellent food and service. Jose was so welcoming and helpful. Wanted schnitzels so we decided to try this biergarten. Bier Bacon was so good. The slaw was delicious and enhanced the bacon... I don't usually like slaw but I would definitely love to have more of their slaw. 😀 Jaeger Schnitzel was perfect, it was crispy even after the mushroom demi glaze was spread on top. Spaetzle was really good, most times it's just a mushy mass but these were individual pieces 👍 Dee’s Kassler Ripchen - Smoked Pork Chop with potato Pancake and red cabbage. The pork chop was really good. The red cabbage was delicious loved it! Hubby loved the potato pancakes but I thought they were more like Hash brown then the usual potato pancake... Will have to go back to try other items! I'm just sad the one closer to us near the Meadowlands does not have a German menu...

The layout is unusual, actually is a true biergarten layout. Long bar along the right side, open layout with picnic tables throughout. Service was good, the barmaid actually serves the food too and was attentive. The Bavarian pretzel was huge and delicious. Nice and hot and kind of buttery. Well salted and nice hot cheese dip or mustard dip. The potato pancakes were ok. I thought they would be homemade but they were frozen. Other German fare is served lime bratwurst, sauerbraten, etc. The beer is fantastic. Many different varieties and served from the tap in a large mug. There is no parking nearby, which can be a problem because the neighborhood can be a bit dodgy. But overall a cool and fun place with a nice and diverse crowd.

Had the sausage and my girl had a burger! The burger was missing the special Cajun portion to it but our friendly bartender took care of it. The beer was mighty and large and I only wish it was also volunteered in a cooled stein, but I don't know if that's too ridiculous of me to ask! Place is definitely trans friendly so do not be afraid. They get doordashers who should be forced to wait out front if you ask me. They're too awful standing near the bar, stop allowing them to do that. Give Redd's a visit! Ask for your order with a toothy smile and I promise they will respond in kind. :)
