American Deli — Restaurant in North Charleston

For the fact that they're rude, AND their food is trash, and over priced (over $35), they could have quicker service. My son and I ordered two salads with grilled chicken, and 4 chicken tenders for my toddler, and it took them over 20 minutes to get it to us, all the while servicing people who ordered after us and chit chatting at the counter with friends almost as if they forgot to give us our food. They didn't give us two salads as ordered, they only rang us up for one, I had to order another one and stand and wait twice as long, and neither of our salads came with forks or napkins in our bag so I had to go back up and stand for those as well, the forks are not individually wrapped and when they hand you the forks they touch the prongs with no gloves on. I won't be back....

Today I went to American Deli (7/25/22) for the first time at the mall and I was pleased! I got the burger and wings combo that came with a drink and added fries with it. It was good, especially those wings! Whoever made my food did an excellent job and took out all the things I didn’t want off my burger (I am picky lol). One thing I will say though is that the lemonade tasted a bit funny and too sweet and watery but overall I wouldn’t mind going back there again and hopefully I’ll have the same experience again. It was by far the most disgusting over $30 for a slab of meat on hard sub with slice cheese you buy in the plastic pieces. My son's fries were cold and limp. Asked for extra ketchup and mayo and placed will pay extra. I wouldn't have even given to q dog to eat. I sent a review thru door dash and because of the complaint they reviewed and said that my review didn't meet the criteria. What is the purpose of a review if can't say what really was.
