The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is due to my previous experience when Stacy handled my orders.
I order a lot of catering for work and have spent literally tens of thousands of dollars at this specific Panera location. I ordered about 15 boxed lunches on 2/9 - they completely forgot my order and it arrived an hour late with no apology, no explanation, and missing items.
On 2/12 I had a second small breakfast order that again was delivered an hour late, and was completely screwed up. Not even close to being correct. I called, spoke to a male manager who apologized and took notes the entire time to share with the catering coordinator. He assured me I wouldn't be charged.
Today, 2/16 I checked my account and I was charged. So while picking up a "rapid pick up order" (that was 20 minutes late) I asked to speak to the manager. I was told that she wanted to know "if it was important" because she was "busy". I explained that I wanted to make sure I was refunded, and was then told that I should "come back later" because "she's busy". Mind you there were about four tables occupied at this time.
I asked the cashier for the manager's name (Madison) and sat down to continue waiting for my order. From the rapid pick up bench I overhead Madison scolding the cashier for giving out her name.
I will not be ordering from this location ever again and will be sharing my experience with my workplace so the other departments know to take their business elsewhere. In the last year alone I have spent over $11,000 (I did the math) at this location - I'll be taking that business elsewhere. To be completely brushed off like that when I'm trying to address ANOTHER of THEIR mistakes is ridiculous. I've already contacted corporate, and will be calling again next week to get my refund and hopefully speak with Madison's supervisor.
To top my night off, when I finally got my order and got in my car, I noticed they had OF COURSE forgotten an item, so I had to go back in.
Just go to the one at Tanger if you're really pining for Panera - don't waste your time...
Read moreThis review is only for the Panera Bread on Ashley Phosphate Road. I am a loyal customer I have never had issues with Panera until today and it's just that particular location. So me and my children decided to go get desserts they love the sugar cookies, and I love the pecan braid. So that's what we decided to get until we saw a fly on top of some of the desserts. I asked her if there was any other pecan braids that was put away and that was not contaminated by flies. She said no, so I told her I just wanted the 3 sugar cookies, and I asked her if I can get a discount because I was really wanted that pecan braid and it's not my fault that a fly was on it. She said she cannot do that because she did not see a fly. I said the fly flew away because that's what flies do. My kids and I saw the fly but she insisted that we didn't see a fly. She didn't even apologize for the fact that we did see a fly, instead she insisted that there was no fly. Take note that the bakery is literally right in front of the front door. So we decided to leave very peacefully😀. I am not making a big issue out the fact that we didn't get a discount because like I said I am a loyal customer, I go there by the week. The issue I have is with the so-called manager by the name of Rachel, who lacks customer service skills, she does not know how to speak to people and she shows no type of emotion, but yet she's a manager at Panera Bread? I refuse to help her get a paycheck by spending my money there. That will be my last time stopping at this location. I will not let this bad experience affect me going to Panera because I love Panera, but like I said I will not be going to the one on Ashley Phosphate Rd. I would have attached a picture of the fly on the desserts but it flew...
Read moreI order carry out on the Panera app quite often. Usually I use the Panera on Sam Rittenberg location, but on the days I take my daughter to work we pass by this Ashley Phosphate location. I got my usual 4 Breakfast Sandwiches for the two of us. 2 bacon, egg & cheese on brioche… 1 sausage egg & cheese on brioche… And 1 chipotle chicken egg & Avo…
The 2 bacon ones were fine, as they normally are. But once we got to my daughter’s job we realized the one that was supposed to be sausage egg & cheese was missing the sausage and was marked egg & cheese… Then the final sandwich was correct. But it was the smallest, most pathetic lil chip.chic, egg & Avo I’ve ever seen come out of a Panera!? lol. And the one little slice of Avocado had brown spots on it, with the little fibers from where the stem would have attached to the outside of the avocado. The little bit of chicken & egg was pathetic. This location has really gone downhill over the past few years! They are ALWAYS out of lots of different things. Even Bacon a few times. How does a store selling breakfast sandwiches run out of bacon? Smh… Also, by 7-8am they are normally out of about half of the diff types of bagels! Isn’t that their thing? Bread & Bagels? How do you run out of this stuff every single day? lol The Management down to the workers are borderline incompetent! I get that it’s been hard to find quality workers since Covid? But they have got to do better! The Panera on Sam Rittenberg has some “issues” as well… But nowhere near as bad as the Ashley Phosphate location!! Please hire a better Store Manager that can teach the workers some pride and accountability? After reading a bunch of these reviews I see that my problems here have been mild compared to others…
