Starbucks — Restaurant in North Charleston

They called me a lier the Starbucks on Ashley Phosphate and I had my friend record the whole thing... That was the rudest I have ever been treated at starbucks and spend between $12.00 to $18.00 daily and sometimes more depending on if I have family 👪 in town or not. The bottom line is that as a good person and an excellent customer this really hurt my feelings and made sit and re-evaluate my dedication to Starbucks in general. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told that "I am the manager and you have already held my line up long enough please drive forward so we can help our customers. Remind my drink order what's wrong and I ordered it from the International Boulevard Starbucks I was already on the interstate when it was warm enough for me to drink. So when I figured out that my drinks were not right I got off on the Ashley Phosphate exit because me Starbucks on rivers is right there and the lady told me that I was a liar that International Boulevard was not even open this was on yesterday morning around 8:30ish. So I kindly pulled out the drive-thru and called International Boulevard and she remembered me so I took the phone and knocked on the door at the Rivers Avenue location and they refused to come to the door. I was not happy with this visit. This is my first time at this location and I was extremely turned off at the fact that I’ve bought a drink and water and I was actually putting the finishing touches on a book that I am publishing on my laptop.I was there for about three hrs. One of the people who work there approached me from a group of other ones who were taking a lunch I assume and asked me what was I doing here and I told her I was working on my book and she even went into detail asking what kind of book and I was extremely turned off by it as if she was insinuating that I could not be there that long. I felt targeted due to the fact that I am african american with pink hair. They did not approach anyone else there (caucasian) It’s sad because I have been going to the moncks corner location for two months daily and they treat me very well there. They know me by name and order. I started my book and completed it at that location and they never looked at me funny and they always let me sit. I always bought two drinks while I was there and they offered me water and always showed interest in what I was writing. They encourage me along the way and never made me feel like I was not welcomed . I will never revisit the North Charleston location again. This was very distasteful and disappointing and they made me very uncomfortable. I will continue to go to the one in Moncks Corner where they know how to treat...

This Starbucks is a disaster and in need of additional training. When I arrived there were about 7 people waiting for their drinks but no one in line. I went to the counter to order and waited about 10min for someone to even acknowledge me and then another 5min before they came and took my order. Everyone seemed to be working on the drive thru and mobile orders and then another girl was just stocking stuff while I waited. Then once I ordered my drink it took 20min to get a venti peppermint Mocha latte. Then there were no straws and when I asked for one they told me they'd be with me in a minute. My drink tasted horrible. I was there over an hour and saw people waiting inside for 30min to get their order, and it was a steady flow, it wasnt even that busy. There were 5 people behind the counter and none of them were friendly or looked happy to be there. I've seen Starbucks with less employees rocking the counter and customer service while being much busier. The in store customers should never come last! Also, the bathroom has a lock on it and God forbid you need to use the restroom, I cant imagine how long it would take to get someone to open it up. I will never return here, there's too many other good Starbucks in the area. This location could definitely benefit from a visit from corporate and sending a team in to do training, its definitely the worst Starbucks I've...
