Waited in the drive through for 20 minutes, not because of a line of cars, but because no one would come over the speaker and take my order. Eventually I parked (I felt bad for the 3 people behind me) and went into the Wendy’s. When I got up to the counter, a women was just sitting there talking to some other guy (not an employee, just a friend I guess) and not paying any attention to me. She was talking about how working at Wendy’s was “like another day in hell if you ask me”. Eventually, I told her I was ready to order, and she responded by telling me that she wasn’t the cashier. She walked away and found the cashier, who was doing who knows what in the employee only room. When I asked him what the holdup was in the drive through, he responded by telling me that “the drive through person and another employee were arguing, but they’re done now”. When I pressed him, asking him what kind of an excuse that was, he responded by simply telling me, once again, that they had been arguing, and they were done now. Eventually I ordered, and payed for, my medium frosty and he gave me a small frosty instead. By the time I noticed his mistake, there was already a long line at the counter (probably due to the clogged up drive through) so I couldn’t reorder it. Not only that, but I was tired at the point (I had waited half an hour for a frosty) and didn’t want to fight any more. I would definitely NOT recommend this store to anyone who I wanted to have a good...
Read moreNot going here again. Yesterday I ordered here and got the wrong items and the women at the window were rude and unwelcoming. Today we decided to give it another shot because I really wanted to try the Popper Sandwich (which was admittedly good). My family also wanted to order just the Biggie Deals Chicken Sandwich and Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe after I mentioned how good they were from the day before, and the lady at the drive through was totally incompetent. She said "oh we're out of the chicken sandwich stuff and don't do the Biggie Deals anymore, but we can do the chicken sandwich IF you do the 4 for 4." So I said fine and then was told ya'll "don't do the Biggie Deal Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe and my only option was the Jr Cheeseburger 4 for 4" as well. But she said it'd cost extra to add the items that were on the deluxe to the cheeseburger on the 4 for 4. Since when can Wendy's not do the most basic items on their Biggie Deals?! Especially when I just got those exact items the day before! And then I get to the window to pay and she basically shoves the card machine into my car despite my holding cash out to her and after sitting there finally sighed and took my money as if I was some inconvenience. Was very rude and then the lady who handed out the food was no better and we said thanks and she just grunted. Having been a manager at a restaurant, this behavior is inexcusable. I will not be returning here...
Read morePicked up breakfast yesterday morning for a friend and had a pleasant experience. Saw the ad for the new mozzarella chicken sandwich and decided I would like to go back that afternoon and try it for myself. Pulled up to the order window about 2:30 PM and was immediately addressed with a slightly abrasive tone, "Be with you in a minute." Having worked in food service myself in the past, I decided to brush that off, understanding that it can be very stressful. I responded with " No problem!" The response: An angry "I said be with you in a moment!" I again replied in a gentle tone: "Yeah, no worries, take your time." The next response had me completely baffled: "I don't care! You can wait!" I didn't know how to respond at this point. My boyfriend and I debated what to do for a bit before deciding to just head inside so their drive-thru line could be shortened and we could tell them not to worry about rushing for us. Their lobby doors were locked despite the hours being clearly posted as open for the time we were there. We decided to just head to a different location. I worked for that Wendy's a few years ago. That sort of tone and behavior was absolutely not tolerated, even under pressure. It was very disheartening to...
