My wife contacted this location to have a pizza delivered. The associate who answered the phone scoffed at the fact that she just wanted a small pizza delivered and said "that's it?". She ordered a soda as well and asked if she could leave a tip on the card. She asked "whats a normal tip, would $2 or $3 be okay?" (It was a $10 tab and the home was 1 mile from this location) to which Joe replied "you want me to deliver this for just a $2 or $3 tip?" My wife at that point told him to forget it and she would order elsewhere. I called to find out if Joe thought was was an acceptable and professional way to treat customers. He told me that my wife had been rude, that she "just wanted to get the cheapest pizza she could get". I dont find that rude since the pizza was for one person and since selling single pizzas is a service they offer, meaning she was only asking him to do his job. I said "there was nothing rude about her ordering a pizza, you guys are a pizza place, she was paying the $3 delivery fee, and a $3 tip on top of that to have a pizza delivered one mile away, sounds pretty standard to me". His reply was "well she was a foreign lady that didn't even speak English". While my wife does have a light accent she also speaks perfect English and has her masters in English as well as 2 other subjects. Joe seemed to resort to schoolyard name calling by default since he obviously has a severe lack of professionalism and had clearly repeated back every word to me that my wife had said to him. Interesting. Ironically, Joe mumbled his way through the entire conversation making him quite difficult to understand. I asked to speak with a manager and he informed me that HE WAS THE MANAGER! I don't know how that is possible as this gentleman wouldn't even be offered a job at any respectable establishment let alone a manager position which should be an example for other workers. He must be related to the owner or something. He started getting loud with me (despite me never raising my voice) until he just started babbling then hung up. I am going to contact corporate, as you can see from all of the reviews that came before me this location clearly is struggling to hang onto 1 star and it is certainly because of subpar performance like that which Joe is...
Read moreWorst experience ever!!! Credit card machine was down so they were writing customers card numbers and security codes on a notepad! The machine was down the whole weekend-hey, maybe tell people to bring cash or check! Very sketchy to be taking that information down. I received the WRONG order, I returned to the store and promptly watched the manager put it back in the warmer with other customers food-disgusting! NEVER OFFERED so much as an apology. I contacted the corporate office to complain about manager "Shady," the rudest, crudest person I've ever encountered. The owner Tom Dalsasso, NEVER replied to my concern. HEY Northville customers, there are way too many other good, reputable pizza chains out there, that don't insult the customers, wear gloves while preparing food and genuinely care if your order is wrong. Stay far away from this establishment, unless you want to be insulted and given...
Read moreWent here tonight for a carry-out of the $15 meal deal. We got 2 medium pizzas- one cheese and one pepperoni- and Howie Bread. While the service was quick (was ready for pick-up in 10 min), the pizza was horrible, dry, and bland. It didn’t taste fresh, but my least favorite part was it tasted and looked like there was absolutely no sauce on either of the pizzas. I added Italian seasoning and some other flavorings to my personal slices as well as dipped my pieces in the sauce to see if it helped, and it was still not flavorable or satisfying. None of us (3 of us) liked tonight’s carry-out order, and we ended up tossing out most of the pepperoni pizza. My advice is to go to a different Hungry Howies location if possible, as all of the other ones seem to be super delicious and flavorable and hot and fresh tasting, or try Jets, Primo’s, or Cebella’s Pizza! Those places always seem to be...
