House of Ice Cream — Restaurant in Ocean City

I stopped by House of ice cream the other day and decided to try their strawberry matcha — and wow, it completely blew me away. I’ve had matcha drinks from a lot of places, but this one was on another level. You can tell they use high-quality matcha and real fruit, not syrupy junk. And it looks so good too — the colors are beautiful, which made it perfect for a quick Insta story 😄 The staff were really nice, the vibe was chill, and everything came out fast. My love of sugar is legendary, so a friend suggested we stop off at Ocean City's House of Ice Cream and check out the macarons. An unassuming, clean and inviting shopfront, it was a pleasure to walk in and see the array of colourful macarons and chocolates on display. There was an interesting and Attractive variety of macarons on display with some flavours I haven’t seen in other stores.nclug The cheesecake macarons lived up to their appearance and flavour profile... and I’ll definitely be back for more.

On a related note... the server was tremendously helpful and a delight to do...

I asked for chocolate ice cream with M&Ms. They gave me chocolate ice cream with M&Ms with peanuts. I immediately gave it right back to her and told her my son is allergic. He cannot have peanuts. They gave me another ice cream, which ended up having a peanut in it anyway, and my son had an allergic reaction. When I go back to tell them what they did to my son they don’t say I’m so sorry. Let me get the manager, instead they acted like they don’t know how to speak English. I will be following a dispute with my credit card company. Awful, terrible...
