Cats & Crystals — Restaurant in Oceanside

What a lovely place. I spent an hr at the lounge yesterday and had the most magical time. First and foremost seeing the attention the cats get and how well treated they are warms my heart. The whole ambiance is fun & tailored just for these kitties!! You can tell all the effort as well as the time they put in this place. . What a complete fun relaxing space to spend time in. 🐈 All the cats were lovely and I can’t get over how out of this world this place is.

Not only is the lounge awesome, but jasmine the person at the front desk was warm and welcoming. When she didn’t have customers she was in the room telling us about each and every kitty and bringing a couple shy ones out to show us. You can tell she truly LOVES the cats and that definitely shows in her customer service. Jasmine is the best!!!

Out of the many cat cafes that I've visited, this one had the most unique concept but also the most let-down experience. The atmosphere was decorated like a magical woodland forest and the store had fun cat meme items and other knick knacks. However, there were no drinks or food items - not sure why it's called/marketed as a cafe when there's no food or drinks served. There were also 10 cats and 12 visitors - too many people in proportion to the cats, especially since 3 of them slept the entire time we were there. The space is also too small; you can barely walk around even with everyone sitting down, and it seems like a small space for 10 cats to play, roam, and jump around as well. And maybe it's because of the space size, but there weren't that many toys for the cats to play with either. The kitties do look well taken care of, but I wish that the space was bigger. Cats and Crystals is a wonderful addition to the community. Everyone working at the grand opening was so kind and helpful. You can tell just how supportive the community is in Oceanside by visiting the cafe.

The process to get a reservation was easy and smooth. The inside of the cafe is filled with candles, earrings, cat toys, and so much more that any cat lover would fall in love with.

The room that the cats are in makes you feel like you've entered into fairytail. The level of detail to the theme of the cafe is top tier. I've personally been to a lot of cat cafes across the country and this one is unlike any other. You can definitely tell they've worked hard to make a beautiful and peaceful place for both cats and people to bond and relax.
