10 minutes away from Legoland. Filled up before having a full day of fun! With all the great reviews I was expecting packed lot. I guess it was too early since parking was plentiful when we arrived at 8am. Parking: check!
We were 2nd customers. By 8:40am though, the place was starting to fill up with mostly guests with children. Maybe they were going to Legoland too lol. The place was very inviting, very clean. You can clearly see that they have made an effort to make even the outside seating very comfortable. We chose to dine inside since this was our first time. The place was filled with interesting wall decor and even a giant replica of a cow. The cow looked friendly so that’s that.
The greeter was nice, very professionals & polite. She seated us right by the window (1/2 booth seats and ½ regular seats) which was what we would have asked for. They read our minds. Good sign. She didn’t wear a mask but we were all vaccinated except the little guy but she was distanced enough from him when taking our order so no issue there. I’m sure management would have put rules in place because some folk behind the bar were wearing theirs. No issue here.
We drove 1hr 15min from Diamond Bar area so that was quite a drive after chugging a full hydro flask of water. The bathroom…. Was so clean! So very happy to see this because cleanliness is very important to us, esp this time of Covid and all. So cleanliness: check!
Our server was very pleasant, and I feel bad I forgot her name but she was wearing black glasses. Service was awesome. That’s another check mark too.
And the food? Super awesome! Super big check mark there. My meal was the Bacon Benny (2 perfectly poached eggs on English muffins, with thick cut bacon strips, hollandaise sauce and a drizzle of balsamic reduction yum!) that came with Parmesan Truffle Potatoes (round potato puffs that were crunchy on outside and really soft and perfectly salted mashed potatoes inside). It was a perfect pair. That was my $16 meal. Best part, a QR code was provided on the receipt for paying so it was definitely a contactless payment process for us. If that’s not your cup of tea, you can pay the traditional way as well. It’s a nice and efficient digital way to pay. I like that.
We also got the afrench Toast Combo with bacon ($15), the Green eggs no ham with fruit ($17), and the mini me plate for the little guy ($8). Reasonably priced meal for 4… that’s a check mark too.
A must recommend place for families esp if you have kids. Will definitely come back and tell friends to stop by and try the rest...

We arrived right before the greatest rush from what we could see in table turnover. Service from our server was good when they popped by, but more than once we had to get up to ask for standard things: silverware, napkins, condiments.
Food & Drinks -Loaded Bloody Mary and a mimosa flight. Bloody Mary was more "stuff" than actual drink, but flavor was good, Not too spicy. If you're not a fan of all the extras goodies like olives or a grilled peppers, I'd stick with the classic. The mimosa flight was a good value considering the cost of one mimosa. Ordered the pineapple, orange vanilla (got a full size), prickly pear, and lavender lemonade. The lavender and pineapple were most enjoyed from the flight. -Ordered the classic eggs Benedict and the short rib Benedict. Portions were decent considering the area and the dishes were just okay overall. The poached eggs were perfect, but the stars were the potatoes on the side. We also ordered one of the cinnamon roll pancakes to share. It was sweet enough not to need syrup.
Things to keep in Mind -This place stays busy! If you can wait until 1pm to go, it significantly slows down. Being a 5 minute walk from the Pier and Top Gun house be prepared to wait for a table if you walk in., They do seem to have multiple tables permanently capable of seating 8 people, so if you're group is a bit bigger you should be fine. -Dog Friendly. The patio table mostly have shade so your dogs should be comfortable. we saw them bring water bowls, but I would recommend having a cooling mat/something for them to lay on just in case the patio concrete is warm. -Table location. As a party of two we knew we would have a small table (not an issue). We could have been seated right away at the bar if wanted, but chose to wait. Unfortunately one of the only patio adjacent 2 seater tables (to the left of entrance) butts up to the server station. So the lovely scent of trash wafted its way over from the open trash can behind one of our chairs. Being so busy there were no other tables available without an additional wait. Similarly the larger 6-8 people tables on the patio have some shade via umbrellas, but they won't be...

ABC hash $17.5 1/2 of a potato, 1/8 of avocado, 2 sunny side eggs, 1 ounce of pork belly and a 1.25 inch toasted sliced sourdough halfed. Simply salt and pepper seasoning, and extremely oily. Potatoes were chopped into little thin cubes, and as I crunched through them, I could taste the oil packed in those 2 cm cubes.
coconut pistachio kanafee $16 One single slice of 1 inch plain white bread that was only toasted around the sides and edges, and was soaked in syrup. The bread tasted like a slice of bread I would get from a grocery store, plain out of the bag. Coconut flakes was a good choice, however it is just not balanced out. One little bite was like a taking a lot of cotton candy crunching it up into a small piece and eating it up like that. I only took a few bites, picked around to see if I could get a better taste around the edge, but just couldn't. Overly sweet and unbalanced.
italian lavazza coffee $3.5 Did not expect it to be only $3.5, only saw the price when I received the receipt. Got a cup of filled cup of coffee, along with another jug of refill, 1 shot glass of milk of your choice whole nonfat or almond, and different packets of sugar for your choosing. Recommend ordering for 2 people if you desire coffee.
Review rating was a 4.2, and I hesitated because it was on the lower side, but menu pdf was designed nicely, and opted to give it a try. The outside seating was beautiful, great to sit under the sun on a weekend. Paid a total of $47 including tips. The waitress that served me was very attentive, and checked on me occasionally to see if I needed anything, excellent service. Front desk host was a little awkward, could be more friendly. Would I come again, no. Price range is on the higher side and nothing special. For the price I paid, I could've had an excellent meal elsewhere, and where I would want to take...
