Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Ogden

This location, 1269 Wall Ave Unit B-2, Ogden UT is to be avoided. Bad bad employees and absent manager. They do not care at this location. Pizza would be good if they would make it as you request. Online orders are not given due care. I hate hate hate onions on pizza. At this Ogden location they simply will not take the care to prepare online orders properly. They just make the stuffed pizza any way they want as you generally don't check inside till you cook and cut it. Maybe because I do not like to tip the full 15% or 20% the online checkout or in store payment machine defaults to? Maybe that's it. The near mandatory automated tip of 15% is too much. So I add a dollar and round up the change. So this apparently is not enough for them to make the order right. Why do we have to tip anyway? Only way to get pizza right is to watch them make it in store. If they do it right...then give them at tip. That would be fair. But taking home a badly made pizza is not worth the money, much less a tip for the trip, time, money and insult. Costco is the way to go...

I normally go to Papa Murphy's and have no issues. My friend ordered a pizza and I told him to tell the lady at the register what he wanted, I asked for Gluten free and the manager said they were out, I said that's fine and I would get one next time.

Instead of telling me that the long haired androgynous person at the register was a guy, which I later found out from my friend who read his tag as "Jeff", the manager Alesha Moyes decided to do something very passive aggressive.

The manager went out of her way to give me a ticket for a free gluten free pizza. which I thought was very nice of her, until she told me to stick it in my purse. As a man I don't tend to carry a purse, when I laughed and gave it to my friend and told him to stick it in his purse, she told him to stick it in his wallet and that I should stick it in my purse, which she could clearly see I did not have.

No I will not be getting the free pizza.

I came into the store on 12th street and wall on the 15th of January 2024. We came in at 6:59 and they were closing early due to being very short staffed! The staff was extremely friendly and professional. We told them we could go somewhere else and let them close up but they insisted on helping us with our order. They helped us out a lot! I went in thinking they were open longer and felt really bad that we kept them longer, but they were very accommodating and helpful. I seriously appreciate all of their help. And I would very highly recommend you going to this papa Murphy and eating at this location or just picking up from there! They are extremely friendly, helpful, and very quick to serve you! Thank you to the people there tonight! I hope you know how much it was...
