Another day in Maine- another review…#backyardcoffee #ogunquit #foodreview @Backyard Coffee Roasters ® #fyp #holliandmick

Heard good things, but this place was a rip off. The staff was friendly and nice, the flavor of the breakfast sandwich on everything bagel was pretty good (bacon was nice and crispy and fairly thick cut)... But that's about the best of it all. I've never seen such a small bagel sandwich for $9. Again, the taste was good (not great) and the value was terrible. I posted a picture of half of the sandwich next to a standard ketchup packet for size comparison. Laughable. My GF ordered a drop coffee which was alright and a plain bagel, egg, with hummus which also was fine flavor but again tiny bagel. Now the most disappointing part. I'm a big coffee drinker, I brew my own cold brew and nitro on a weekly basis and frequent coffee shops all over when I travel. They have Bard coffee here which I love and often get when out in Portland Maine. I asked if they had nitro and the staff seemingly didn't know what I was asking for, so I opted for a double iced Americano with lite ice so it'd be less watered down... The Americano was the most watered down I've had. It barely tasted anything more than murky colored water. I honestly thought they gave me the wrong item. I've had Americanos at Bard and they were great. Here, total disappointment. Overall I would not waste my time here. There are many other spots around that are slightly less popular and far better both in quality and value. Bums me out but I guess my expectations were a bit too high after hearing so many good things about this place. Now off to go get an actual real coffee to satisfy my need for a GOOD morning coffee.

Great little place for coffee, sandwiches, salads, baked goods & specialty drinks, just shy of the coast. We were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome and at ease, in spite of a rush that started just as we arrived. They went out of their way to make ours a delightfully relaxing and pleasant dining experience. The interior is casual and eclectic, but patio dining is the best choice in good weather. Staff members are responsive to questions about food allergies, sensitivities and ingredient sourcing -- and considerate of diners concerned about what's in their food. For an especially memorable visit, take a walk down the nearby foot path to the beach, and enjoy the extraordinary view while you finish your coffee!

I respect them. I respect them alot for making healthy food. It's very good but I do have some complaints. #1. I got a wrap and right when I opened it, it look fine. Litteraly not even 2 seconds later the whole wrap unwrapped itself without me even touching it. I mean if your going to make a wrap maybe learn how to probably fold it. It was good tho. I still highly recomend it. I got the beach street. #2. I orded the bug ol chocolate milk but was highly disappointed when I tasted it. It looked so good but tasted like water with a drop of white milk. There was no chocolate flavor at all. Probally the worst chocolate milk I have personally ever tasted. #3 the serving sizes for sandwiches are huge however, they use alot if deli cut meat which I personally do not like. Wheb I think of ham I think of an actually ham not a thin slice of deli meat. But I will return to this place because...

This is by far my favorite coffee and breakfast spot in Ogunquit. The blueberry scone with a delicious cup of coffee is my go to meal. We make it a point to visit every time we are in Ogunquit...this year we stopped in 3/5 days we were in town and each time the blueberry scones were sold out because they are that good and we also got there a little later in the morning. On our last day in town I woke up early to place my order online and finally got my blueberry scone fix!! The other days we stopped in I enjoyed their delicious lemon/cherry scone, chocolate chip scone and also an egg and cheese sandwich on their multigrain bread...all were super yummy! The staff is also fantastic - friendly and helpful. There's a good amount of seating indoors and even more spots to sit outside. You might have to be a little patient looking for parking if you drive there, but it is...
