Fat Head's Brewery — Restaurant in Ohio

I remember back in 2010- 2020 you couldn't get a spot in this restaurant on a Saturday, we walked into a dead Fat heads at 1pm this Saturday. It had been years since we had come because the last experience in canton just fell short compared to our North Olsmted experience. That being said. We were excited to see that the fresh chips are no longer and that you actually get fries with your burger and heachwich. We ordered a blueberry beer and the key lime sour beer. Blueberry was alright, but the sour key lime beer was undrinkable. It took sour to a whole new level, almost as like I was drinking the concentrate of what the beer will be. They took it back and replaced with another blueberry beer for us which was nice. When the food came out we still had not received forks or napkins or refils for our drinks not a big deal but the restaurant was so dead that it was a little upsetting they didn't take the time to have us prepared. The rueben I got was good, just that. Husband got a burger it was okay. Also got a fatty melt it was....okay. The fries on all of our plates came out luke warm, not hot at all. All 5 of us had fries on our plate and they were for sure not made fresh for us, its like they'd been sitting all morning under the heat lamp type of taste/ texture. I upgraded my fries to garlic parm and they came out soaked in something very gross. I squeezed the fry and it literally poured out grease. The fries were the most disappointing. They should have been hot and fresh for what we are paying ya know. I would've said something but no one bothered to ask how are meal was so I figured I let google know! I guess it'll be another 5 years before we spend...

UPDATE: I visited again and things definitely went better. We were seated right away, food came out in about 15 minutes, and our waitress was extremely nice! The chocolate dessert was amazing, and the food was pretty good, but there were a few things I didn't like. I ordered the margherita pizza and there was WAY too much goat cheese on it. Also, I love a good beer cheese and soft pretzel, but the beer cheese at Fathead's was not good. It was cold and in a ball that was hard to dip into, and it was unexpectedly spicy.

I was very disappointed with my dining experience yesterday. My group waited 10 minutes before the waitress even first came to our table, waited another 20 minutes for drinks, and then waited 45 minutes for our food. On top of that, the food I received was not what I ordered. I told the waitress about it and she did offer to put in an order for something else, but I told her no, don’t bother, I just won’t eat anything because I don’t want to hold my group up with the wait. When she brought the checks, I was appalled to see that she charged me for my meal. Again, this meal was not what I ordered and I didn’t eat it because I didn’t want it. I couldn’t believe it. I ended up not saying anything about the wrongful charge because at that point, my group had already been there for two hours and I was tired and frustrated and I just wanted to leave. Unimpressed with these trendy, hip restaurants that care more about their image than actual service.

Our waiter was trying for cool, but was channeling Pauly Shore instead. If you've ever seen him there, you know exactly who we mean. He's friendly enough, but lacking in the attentiveness department.

Closed menus universally means the party is ready to order. He looked over at us four times as he wandered around the wait station doing literally nothing. Looked me directly in the eyes twice, still took over five minutes to come take our orders.

App (pepperjack cheese bites) came fast and were good, but could have been hotter. Lukewarm cheese isn't awesome.

Reuben was disgusting. One of the worst I've ever had. Ranch that I asked to be with it was nowhere to be seen. Asked the girl that brought the entrees (another waitress) for the ranch, she said she'd get it. Instead, she tended to her other tables. Over 10 minutes passed before our waiter returned, he caught the missing ranch and went and got it. Over half the sandwich was choked down by then.

Chips are homemade, but tasteless.

Wife ordered a bumbleberry. It never came despite me looking at it, the exact one that was eventually brought sitting on the bar, for over ten minutes. Unsurprisingly, it was warm by the time it arrived. He even had the audacity to charge us for it.
