Yesterday (12/2/20) We had a disappointing experience. Upon entering the store, only two people (who were together) were in front of us. The gal behind the counter seemed to know them, and kept talking to them even though they'd clearly already ordered, and she could have greeted us and taken our orders. On and on, about how she was 'going to miss this place', which implies to me that she's leaving. GOOD. Other people came in behind us, online orders were being made, and DoorDash people came in to pick up lunch orders. My lunch companion had ordered a philly sub, which I watched being cooked - but then was clearly given to someone else - because ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE who had come in after us were gone, and we were still standing there waiting for that philly. I finally approached the counter, and said 'Did you give our sandwich to someone else?' The talkative gal all of a sudden had nothing to say. They had to start making it all over again. There went 20+ minutes of our lunch hour. All we got was an insincere 'sorry 'bout that'. Not even a bag of chips. DO BETTER. Maybe spend less time micromanaging (or really, less time being nosy about what everyone else is doing) and focus on your job.
12/2019 I love Jersey Mike's. Their subs are so much better than any other sub place around, and we have many in this area. I believe it's the freshness of the ingredients. If I could change one thing, it would be to have a more flavorful...
Read moreThis store has been rapidly going down hill over the past 2 years. The store is suffering due to inability to hire and keep good employees, having a constant turn over. Each successive trip gets more and more disappointing. The store is clean and bright and one is enthusiastically greeted upon entering. They take your order at the entrance aisle okay. Typically I order a half size #8 sub specifying "Mike's Way". Unfortunately the next worker never knows what you ordered. The sandwhich board has the exact items listed for the #8. There seems to always be newly hired trainees that have no idea what needs to go on the sandwhich. You need to watch them carefully as they fail to make it Mike's way. This last trip they started to cut and wrap my sandwhich and I had to stop them and ask, "Don't I get bacon and mayo?" The teenager trainee didn't know, so another teen that was working the cash register immediately took over and added bacon and mayo to my sandwhich, all without putting on gloves. When I got home to dine, I was disapointed to learn there was no vinegerettes on my sandwhich, it was dry. Also, they use to pile the sandwhiches high with lettuce, but now skimp with it. To go there now makes it seem as you need to be prepared to do battle in order to get a great sub the way you ueed to do...

I will drive 30 minutes out of my way just to go to another Jersey Mike’s and not come back to the Canton store. I ordered from the app and all they gave me was chicken and cheese in my tub. I wanted the vegetables so I went up and asked the man behind the grill if I could have some vegetables and he freaked out on me. I was trying to see what kind of vegetables they had in the case as there was a long line and he told me I couldn’t come behind the counter, (which I was not). He’s very rude and was talking a mile a minute. Personally, I think there’s something wrong with him, so I will not be back to your Canton Ohio Whipple Avenue store. I hope in the future you will hire nicer and more...
