A little disappointed in Chick-fil-A. I made a formal complaint fully explaining everything, but they gave me 2 rewards for items I didn't buy like a regular sandwich and an 8 piece nugget, when I purchased a deluxe and a 12 piece nugget. I spent $25 on crappy food! I really thought they'd want to ensure to make the customer happy and make me want to come back after an awful experience but now I don't know. If I go back to Chick-fil-A, it definitely won't be this location.
This is the second time I've been to this location and it will be my last. I did a mobile order cause sometimes it's just easier. My son and I go in, find a table, enter the table number and wait. And we waited...and waited. For well over 10 minutes which is not typical of any Chick-fil-A. She brings our food but no drinks. So I ask and she was like they didn't give them to you? I said no...she proceeded to ask if it was a mobile order and I said yes and her voice changed and said ohhhh....that's why. She just said it in a very odd tone. She brings us our drinks. They only gave my son one ranch for his 12 piece nugget so he had to go up (and wait for several minutes) to ask for more. While he was waiting, they put drinks and ranch on the counter and yelled "Drinks for Kim A!" My son just grabbed them and came back. So we had double the drinks. All of the food was over done. My son's nuggets were hard and crispy and the waffle fries were darker than usual and didn't have the same taste and quality as other locations I've been to. I'm eating my deluxe sandwich (also over done) and I take a bite half way through that made me had to immediately get a napkin and spit it out. The taste is hard to explain.....like a very nasty chemical old rotten taste. I pin pointed it to the tomato. So I go to the counter and a manager is there (wearing the white shirt) and another employee. They ask what's wrong. As I explain it, they looked at me dumbfounded. The manager quickly says oh, sometimes when a tomato is extra juicy, it tastes funny when it mixes with the breading. I said no, that isn't it. Something is very wrong with the tomato. So bad that I can't eat it. She still looks at me in disbelief. I had to ask for a new one. I've never ever had a Chick-fil-A employee act that way. So I take it back and open it and it's like they purposely didn't put the same effort into making my new one. I tried to eat some of it but at this point I'm upset and feeling sick cause of the taste from the previous one. So now I move on to the brownies. I used my points to purchase one of them. Something was also very wrong with them. I get a brownie every time I go to Chick-fil-A so I'm pretty familiar with them. They were under baked. There's a difference between a fudgy brownie and an under baked one. Plus they were cold like they've been kept in the fridge all day. I forced myself to eat it. I knew if I went back up they would have issues with it and they'd probably give me a brownie that was of the same bad quality. I've never ever had such a bad experience at a Chick-fil-A. The manager should've handled the situation better. No one was apologetic about the service or food. I want my money and points back. I'll never give this location my business again. I've eaten at the Highlands, Vienna, and Columbus Morse Rd. and I've never had a bad experience....until now. Honestly, I'm concerned that I've lost my beloved taste for Chick-fil-A because of that nasty taste of my sandwich. I messaged customer service but I'm unsure if they're going to...
Read more#We stopped at this restaurant a little after 9 oclock in the evening. We were traveling home after attending our son's college wrestling match. The dining room was closed, so we went through the drive- thru. This was fine- we were just getting food to go, anyway. We pulled up to order and they asked us to "hold" for about 5 minutes- which we thought was strange, as there were no other cars in the drive thru. We waited at the window for at least 5 minutes after we paid to get our food and then another 10 minutes for our drinks. We had to ask for sauce (even though we told them when we ordered) and straws. We drove to a nearby gas station so we could use the bathroom.
At this time, we began to unpack our food and found that they did not give us a fork for the salad we got, nor did they include the topping packet that comes with the Kale salad. We swung back around and went through the drive- thru again, only to wait 15+ minutes behind another car waiting on their order.
The staff was cleaning and getting ready to close-Completely underatandable, but waiting in the drive thru for over 15 minutes just to get the fork they didnt give me the first time was very irritating and quite rude. Looking inside, we could see everyone moving around and cleaning, talking, on their phones, drinking a milkshake, but here we are (and the car in front of us) just waiting. Once we finally pulle up to the window and explained our issue, no apologies were evenn given.
I hope this isnt a common occurance after 9 oclock at this chain. If we would have known we would be set back 25 minutes on our 2 hour ride home, we would have gone to Arby's down the road. **Edit: I just wanted to add that once got on the road (it was dark, of course) I opened my packet of almonds for my salad only to realize when I took a bite that they had given me granola!!! I ate it anyway because we went through such trouble just to get the fork.
We usually stop here when we go to visit our son in college, I dont see us going back. We will drive to the next chic fil a on another exit...
Read moreWe have been to this location dozens of times.
On the past several (more than 10) visits, I have been very clear with the worker who takes our order. Specifically, I say "Can I please get our Large Fries with Ketchup on the SIDE?" I ask this because A) People touching condiment packets and placing them directly on your food is disgusting and not hygienic and B) Placing packets in your fries means that you pay for a Large and actually get a medium.
I emphasize this to the order taker. I repeat this to the order taker. I remind the order taker. And, yet, nothing....
Went to the drive through window last night to pick up our order. I look in the bag-sure enough, packets in the fries. I tell the boy at the window "Excuse me, I asked for the ketchup packets on the side NOT in the fries". He says "Uh...I can put more ketchup packs on the side, if you want." I gave up.
Last week, they had apparently already cleaned the shake machines because they made our shakes by hand, dumping powder out of a bag directly into the cups and handing the cups to multiple people to touch and handle. It also took 10+ minutes for them to bring out our shakes.
Finally, the chicken meat used to be larger than the buns. Now the buns are larger than the chicken meat.
They are cutting corners on food and fouling up customer service.
If I wanted overpriced, sloppy "food" and bad service, I'd go to...
