As newbies, we played musical chairs trying to catch the eye of anyone who remotely looked like they might be employed there. Eventually, we shifted near a window, enjoying the bonus sun therapy while deciphering the local staff ecosystem. After a spirited game of ‘spot the employee,’ we finally locked eyes with a friendly spirit who turned out to be our server—camouflaged in civilian clothes! Oddly enough, she seemed to be giving her undivided attention to a particular table, engaging in lengthy banter as though reuniting with long-lost family, while we sat parched and unattended.

Parched as desert explorers, we ordered our drinks. My Dr. Pepper arrived looking like an iceberg, while my mom’s iced tea was more ‘tepid tea.’ As I quickly dispatched my soda in a few chilly gulps, my mom sipped morosely at her lukewarm concoction.

Our meal was a mixed bag of culinary feats and defeats. The pancakes stacked up beautifully until the soggy bottom one betrayed the batch. The sides were a study in opposites: overcooked ham steak versus undercooked bacon. A true yin and yang plate that left us philosophizing about the delicate balance of life and cookery.

The empty glasses at our table turned into a silent SOS signal, unheeded amid the sea of bustling patrons and intermittent server sightings. Despite the service blips and temperature missteps, Jimmy’s Egg’s locale and vibe still charm. A little polish on the service, and Jimmy’s Egg could truly shine. Until then, it’s a quirky stop on the culinary map, perfect for those who enjoy a side of mild chaos...

I did this that day before I left. Hmm 😒 did it not post? Anyways (male server) he's cool. Been here more than 15 times and those across the state. It's best to become a regular so staff knows & hopefully so does the cook know how you want your food(for us picky eaters) I like my eggs over medium. All white cooked w/slightly yellow oozing out, hash browns (old school granny's way) like fries 🍟. Not half brown half white, or fried so hard it's one piece Frisbee toss. Food is awesome as usual. Then I noticed partials floating in the atmosphere i was in. It was here there on table..walls up high. OCD said investigate more. So I searched and saw Air duct vent. OMG where right under the manufacturing plant! Dist bunnies, hair, string cloth, anything you can think that gets sucked into air ducts. Someone call Air quality control. Sickness 😷 🤒 🤧 🤕 😷 waiting to happen. Don't ruin my LOVE for Jimmy egg establishment

In response to the review left by Chris Jones, and as the manager of this store and the woman who spoke with him during his recent visit, I’d like to publicly state that we did not have then, nor have we ever had a cat in our kitchen. The first time I was asked of the sound, I wasn’t aware of where it was coming from or what it was. I guessed but I wasn’t lying. When I went to the kitchen and asked my staff to please turn the volume down he showed me a video on his phone which I explained to the guest. The customer then left after refusing to see the video (after ordering but before receiving his food and bill) because it “sounded too inconsistent to be on a phone.” I wasnt lying and if it sounded like a cat it’s because it was a video….of a cat. We passed our health inspection on our most recent visit dated 01/01/25 and every prior one as well. Hope our guests who practice common sense will come visit us for great breakfast served by...
