I was really looking forward to my first custom suit experience and, while the product was great, I was not too impressed with the customer service. They were helpful in scheduling an appointment and walking me through the fabric selection, but I would have liked a bit more care and attention throughout the process. Maybe a copy of my measurements for my reference, a sample suit to look at or try on. For spending so much on a suit and it being my first time, I wanted to feel special and taken care of. Instead the process felt kind of cold. I make my choices and pay for the suit upfront. They give me a timeframe for when to expect it to be ready—a week or two before my event, perfect! But a week before the event I hadn’t heard anything, so I called. My suit was in and I could come try it on. I go in on a Thursday and end up needing an alteration. No problem, it should be ready early next week. I don’t hear anything by Wednesday, so I call. Yep, it’s there. Turns out they got my email address wrong (it’s literally just my name). I don’t doubt that it was an honest mistake and luckily I was diligent enough to call them, but at this price point the least you’d expect is something more than just an email to let you know when your...
Read moreI had ordered a suit jacket online from another source, and when it came in on April 25th, it was a bit too big for me. I google places near me with great reviews and chose William and Lauren to get the jacket altered to fit me properly. They were able to see me that afternoon on my lunch break and the ladies that sized me up, and made pinned adjustments told me I would be able to get the jacket back on Friday May 2nd. Also noting here that we had discussed what I needed the jacket for and when I needed it by. I was to wear the jacket for a charity event to attend the Saturday after on May 3rd. When I called them on Friday the 2nd, they weren’t sure about my jacket and had to call the tailor to see when it would be done. A few hours later they call me back to tell me they were not only not able to get my adjustments done, but they hadn’t even started it. Why they told me they could meet a deadline and then not be able to the day before I intended to wear said item is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional!! Now we are having to figure something else out at the last minute, wasting not only my time but money as well. No communication before hand to let me know they wouldn’t be able to...

Building this suit was an absolute delight and I want everyone to feel the power behind one of Lauren’s suits. It put lightening in my step when I put it on. I went into my L&WCo experience fully planning on fitting in, not standing out, with a simple black or navy jacket and pants, but once you see and feel the fabrics, you know nothing about the final product (no matter the color) will make you blend in. From the button and stitching selection, to pockets, lapel options, lining, pleats and more, L&WCo’s suits exude timelessness, class and sophistication.
Lauren was up front and honest about pricing, guided me in the detailed selection journey and answered all my questions knowledgeably. I felt comfortable (and really really cool) during the measuring process. When I went back for my fitting, Lauren suggested a few minor alterations that took the suit from the perfect fit to THE. PERFECT. FIT.
I cannot recommend L&WCo enough. 5 - starts and two thumbs way up. I can already envision all the stages and conference rooms Giselle will make and appearance at. I’m so grateful to show up with this gorgeous, tailored masterpiece with...
