This place is the worst for the curbside pick up...three THREE times I gave this place a chance because I love applebees but the manager there I wish I got his name, he was an African male not like that matter but still.I ordered my food on v day. they got it messed up. I called them let them know that the order was wrong and that I understood because it was Valentine's Day and it was busy and it was raining and that I was not going to drive back in the rain and a women said it was fine come in another day and they will replace my whole order and I was like awesome, so I come back 2 weeks later. and this time I make sure to check my food. Well this time once again it was not right but me and my husband let it go because this order was free so we were like okay no big deal we still like Applebee's. well then I had family come from out of state and we ordered $100 worth of food like four steaks just so we didn't have to cook and spend time doing all that extra stuff while my family was here.I get there and I check my order and half of the stuff is not right once again.one of the orders was a little side dish it was like macaroni and cheese. it took them 20 minutes to make it again like they forgot about it completely and then they tried to lie about it and was like oh we have it ready but then when they even brought us that out it wasn't even the right macaroni and cheese it had like chicken on it. then I complain and I was like this isn't right my parents are paying $100 for this meal they come out of state this is the third time we've actually come here and we keep coming back and you keep messing our order up.this is wrong. you're doing something wrong back there in the kitchen literally.the manager is not making people check the bags. I don't understand why things are coming out of the kitchen and going to curbside pickup and not being right? why is nobody checking these bags? I complain about this and the manager didn't want me to make a scene. I told him that I just wanted my money back.he even tried telling me after I had to wait 20 minutes for the macaroni and cheese and I told him we've got four steaks out in the car that are cold now he tried telling me well we're very sorry we're very sorry I'll bring it to you what's your address and I was like oh yeah you're going to bring it to my house? you're going to bring me everything back again? Read moreMy family went in for dinner for the first time since the remodel. There was hardly anyone there and still had to wait. Then got seated, was sitting there about 20 min and the hostess walked by and said Oh I am sorry, I need to let your server know you are here. Well the server came, my daughter in law gave her order, my daughter order the grilled club, my husband got the all you can eat and so did my son. My son got a rum bucket and was drinking on that and the waitress brought another one out by mistake and said well this one is on the house. My son's first plate was the shrimp, he then got an order of chicken strips and then another plate of chicken strips all on the all you can eat. Well my daughter got the wrong sandwich, no big deal she went ahead and ate the chicken sandwich that they brought her. Well the check came and my husband was trying to get out of there because the kids had to be somewhere. He gets home and hands me the receipt.... we were charged for an extra rum bucket, and 2 chicken platters. I called back up there and spoke with Shelby (the manager) told her what had happened and she said she could pull the ticket up. She said that our waitress was new and in training. Shay then went and got the waitress to talk to me, she then preceded to argue with me that my son didn't make it clear that he wanted the all you can eat. My husband was sitting there and said they had to clarify at least 3 times that my son wanted the all you can eat. But now Shay is saying she just brought him what he wanted. WHAT DOES SHE NOT GET ABOUT THE 3 RIBLETS, CHICKEN AND SHRIMP ARE ON THE ALL YOU CAN EAT???? Shay informed me that she would pull our ticket and refund what we were wrongfully charged for. She said she would go do it and call me back, I spoke with her at 7:40 pm, it is 9:45 and still have not heard from her. I tried calling up there and they are not answering. So I can say if you're gonna eat here, check your ticket before you leave. We will not be back again to the Applebees that is close to our house in Olive Branch. I will tell everyone that I know and even post this on Social Media if I have to to get this resolved. REFUND MY MONEY!! DO BETTER!!! TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR JOB!! Read more2025: Saw where they had renovated the restaurant and was under new management so we thought we'd give them another shot. Restaurant definitely has better curb appeal and interior has been freshened up with new fixtures and paint. Host seated us and it took almost 12 minutes before a waitress came to the table and this was after I asked the host if we had a server. Since we had been sitting a while we put in our full order. Took almost 10 more minutes to get drinks (tea/soft drinks) after order and appetizer came out a few minutes later. Couple at table were complaining because they got their entrees and then another several minutes to get sides. Food came out but looked like it had been under a heat lamp for a while. Portions were small compared to other restaurant chains in the area and cost was higher by a few dollars per entree.
Had put in a to go order and was told it was being bagged up. After a few minutes, the server came back and said something had happened to our order or someone had taken it. So after several more minutes, the order finally came out.
Got there around 545, and didn't get out until 7.
It wasn't busy so the lack of timely service was disappointing in itself.
After dropping off nearly $90 in food and tip for a less than stellar experience, I can't say that I will be returning.
2024: Restaurant is very dated. Windows and walls were a bit dirty. Service was okay, but chips came out after dip. One entree was served several minute after the first arrived. Presentation was terrible and the food just wasn't very good. Definitely not on par with how it used to be.
This was my first visit to this location in several years, as my wife refuses to eat there after some bad visits. Was hoping for something good but...
