I was stopping at about 5pm on a Wednesday afternoon to get a few plain glazed doughnuts. I noticed as I pulled in that there were two young ladies at the walk-up window and there were two or maybe three autos at the drive-up window. I pulled up to the ordering menu and I heard the automatic system tell me that they were busy but that someone would be with me shortly. I didn't watch to see when the cars left but I waited about 5 minutes, and I backed up and then pulled forward again to trigger the auto system again. It told me that someone would be with me soon again. I waited another 2 minutes, and I noticed the 2 young ladies that were at the walk-up window going to their vehicle. I then counted down from 10 and when I reached 0 I drove around to the drive-up window. As I came around the corner, I saw one lady hanging out the window like she had been shot but then she pulled herself back into the window. I pulled up and a different lady came and asked if she could help me. I asked if it was just too difficult to get on the headset and talk to me when I was at the order menu. She said that they had 5 orders come in and they were very busy. I told her that there was no one here right now. She said they just drove away and I told her that I was over there for more than 5 minutes and they couldn't even acknowledge that I was there over the system. She told me that they have an automated system for that. I told her that the automated system knew I was there but that I had no reason to believe that the people in the building knew that they had a customer because no one took the time to come on the intercom and say, "I'm sorry but we are busy right now and we will be with you shortly." If the people had made the effort to ensure that the waiting customer was enlightened enough that there actually was some person that was going to come back to take their order, they might not have lost a customer. I then drove to Krispy Kreme and bought my doughnuts fresh out of the machine. I don't think that the service deserves even one star, but I don't know how to give a minus one star. I didn't rate the food quality or the atmosphere as I didn't get a sample of either one of those. If someone in management wants to talk to me about this interaction, leave a comment and I will stop by to talk to you...
Read moreI can't believe that I'm about to write this; I've never had to write a negative review before, and I NEVER thought it would be for this Dunkin'. I used to frequent this Dunkin' at least four times a week. About two weeks ago, I went through and got a bagel with cream cheese. I received my food, got about ten minutes away, and realized that they forgot my cream cheese. NBD, I went back because thankfully I had the time. After going through the line again, the person at he window told me that they were all out of plain cream cheese and they only had strawberry. Okay, fine, I am allergic to strawberries, but that's not their fault, and I work in customer service as well. I get that we sometimes forget. I tried to go back a few days later and got an iced caramel latte. The coffee did not have any caramel, and there were espresso grounds at the bottom of it. I waited a couple of days again, and today was the final straw. I went through and got a crissont sandwich, everything bagel minis, and an iced caramel latte with cold foam. I waited for much longer than usual, considering that I placed the order five minutes before I got there, again, no big deal. My drink was missing the cold foam that I paid extra for, and they were out of the everything bagel minis, which I was not informed of again (thank goodness I checked the bag). The shop has obviously gone through a staff change for the worse and I am very sad to see it. I would hope with all the new competition popping up, they would be improving their quality, not declining. It seems like the new issues are from supply shortages, and communication between both employee to customer, but also from manager to employee. I've wasted too much money in the past two weeks to ever come back. I used to brag about having the best Dunkin' around, but I guess the times are changing. Just hoping to save someone some more...
Read moreThe young man taking my order wasn’t being professional, he kept playing around by asking me the same questions over and over and acting goofy when I first arrived at the window by greeting me in a weird voice. He yelled “Okay” to me after telling him large for the third time in a row after HE asked then tried to play it off like he didn’t hear me. When you don’t hear someone, wouldn’t you ask them to repeat themselves? Not ask the same questions over and over in order. What I mean by that is, “With coconut? What flavor? What size?” then asked the same questions, in the same exact order three times in a row. Very unprofessional and childish. My strawberry dragonfruit coconut refresher also tasted like just coconut milk with nothing else in it. Last time I went, the food was terrible as well. It’s not worth the money, there is nothing I have to say positive about it.
Fast forward to over a year later, entire new employees that are incredibly nice and the coffee is always...
