Addy's Sports Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Omaha

Hands down the worst restaurant/service I have ever been too. I’d rate any McDonald’s in the world more stars then this place. HORRIBLE service, 6-8 people who ordered food with us had a problem with their meal. Two of my friends ordered crispy chicken sandwiches which were still raw, mind you we spent at least 40 minutes for our food after we ordered. So no we don’t want to do sit for you guys to recook our meal, it was getting late. My fiancé ordered a crispy chicken wrap and the chicken inside was grilled. (Which she didn’t even eat) Our server kept blaming it on the cook and Bartender for the messed up food when she was clearly the one entering the ordered into the computer. Sauces which were suppose to be on the side were not, had to ask 3 times for ranch (everyone did). Condtiments were alllllll messed up. Ordered bacon no bacon, ordered ranch on side not on meal, came on meal of the side. Long story short I would stay as far away from there as possible. You have so much more options to choose from downtown. I could list 25 and I guarantee they would all be better then Addys. Very disappointed in the way they handled the situation. Amazing!!!!! We started with the sicilian cheese bread and the smoked Gouda bites. The house smoked tomato ranch with the gouda is surprisingly good. The pepperoni and cheese on the bread was amazing! Its like a mini crispy pizza already.

On to the wings. I had to try this place based on recommendations from a FB group and get the char-buffed salted caramel BBQ wings, and let me tell you, these are SO GOOD!!!! I really felt like that flavor combo was going to be a little weird, but they were the perfect combination of salty, sweet and tangy. Whoever got the idea to make that into a wing flavor is a genius and I want to give them a medal.

My friend and I both got the Addys Single Patty for the entree and I added cheese, bacon and a fried egg onto mine. The meat was well cooked, flavorful and firm. Sometimes you get the hand smashed patties that kind of crumble and fall apart. Their fries are also the exact amount of crispy with the soft center that should put McDonalds fries to shame.

Their fountain sodas come in a glass that is almost twice the size of a standard soda at most restaurants I go to, so there was no way I needed a refill.

I ended up taking more than half of the bread, the wings and the gouda bites home jist because there was so much food!

overall, though there were a few bright spots. Our food came out fairly quickly, and the people who brought it to our table were great, polite and efficient. Unfortunately, the chips with the artichoke dip were very stale, and our burger was missing several items we had specifically requested.

The biggest issue was the lack of service. Our server never checked on us once. When we tried to ask another waiter for help, they told us to speak to the bartender and continued serving others nearby. We felt completely ignored during our entire visit.

We had to go inside three separate times just to ask for basic things, including asking for our check and to go boxes because no one was coming to our table. When we finally asked for the bill, we were told it would “be a while,” which was just frustrating after how long we’d already been sitting.

We did speak to someone about our concerns before leaving, and they apologized for the service, which we appreciated. Still, we came in for a quick bite and ended up being stuck for almost an hour just trying to get basic service.
