Fade in—
Sun strongly beating down, you can see the waves of heat sliding across the streets.
Zoom slowly to me, widen to see—
I’ve been wandering — hungry, thirsty, tired, frustrated — for hours, not knowing what’s to come next.
I walk a total of 10 more yards when I turn my head and stop—
My attention is immediately drawn to a large building on my right, where the smell of various aromatics from the door soothe the previously defeated look on his face. I just stare upward-- almost unable to comprehend what I’m seeing.
Written in a distinguishably modern font, with a clean, contrasting sub-header: Bone & Bròth, Vietnamese Cuisine. GRAND OPENING FREE SOFT DRINK.
As tears well, I slowly move deeper towards the restaurant-- it’s as if time has stood still for me.
As I gets closer and closer to the door, the inside of the pristine windows get clearer and clearer.
I stop before the door, then open it, where a man dressed in light green button up quickly rushes over and greets me with the upmost glee. “Hi! Welcome to Bone and Broth! How many?”
Today, without a doubt, I have found salvation.
SO ONTO THE ACTUAL FOOD HAHAHA
Man, the food looked so good I think I might have ordered half the menu
Spicy Fish Sauce Chicken Wings — yo this shi* is bussin — feels light but so much favor, make sure to order this with rice. They said they’re going to make it even CRISPIER in the future, so I’m making sure I’m going to fast for a week before I come back and eat half their stock. Lemongrass chicken — this shi* was ALSO bussin, I don’t even know why I ordered this, I hate lemongrass.. but this dish was like all the videos of YouTube’s change my mind series in one, 9-inch diameter plate. Oh boy did I change my mind. Steak and egg — I don’t remember what the steak was like because the PATE THEY PUT ON TOP WAS SO GOOD. AND THE SAUCE? GIVE ME ALL THE SAUCE YOU HAVE SIR. You want a creamy, umami-rich unparalleled experience that your mom can only try to replicate? Just order the pâté on the separate plate and have that for lunch. Green tea thai tea — MY TWO FAVORITE DRINKS IN ONE? MAN THIS SHI* IS BUSSIN. No comment, just order this. Egg rolls — YO IF I DIDNT SAY THIS YET, THIS SH* BE REALLY BUSSIN. Double fried egg rolls to make a crispy exterior but packed with the ultimate blend of ground pork and whatever soft effecting witchcraft to make the most tender experience you’ve ever had in your life? This can’t be that healthy, but hey I’m here for a good time, not a long time.
Overall, I give a 3000/10 because I just LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS FOOD 3000.
SEE YOU...

Thoughts
I came to Bone & Broth during their Grand Opening. The overall feel of the restaurant was very modern and welcoming with an open floor plan. The star anise designs scattered throughout were a nice touch to the décor and goes well with the restaurant's name. Bathrooms were clean and spacious.
The staff was very attentive in seating us promptly and providing service throughout our time there. They made sure to sit patrons 6 feet apart from other groups/parties.
We ordered the House Special Fried Chicken Wings as an appetizer. It was marinated well in a garlicky fish sauce and was a tasty starter.
The Crispy Salmon & Rice was made perfectly to provide a crispy and flaky taste and paired well with the house special sauce. The house special sauce was a refreshing and tangy accompaniment to the crispy salmon, rice, and veggies.
The Thai tea was made just right and not too sweet at all. They also had an option for a green Thai Tea that was equally as tasty.
Recommend?
Yes! Bone & Broth is a family-owned restaurant with an assortment of delicious Vietnamese food options. It has a lot of potential to be something great...
Read moreAfter arriving @ the Ontario airport we were craving Vietnamese food so we asked the crew members for their favorite Vietnamese restaurant near the airport. Hands down they recommended Bone & Broth.
So we drove 10 mins from the airport and arrived around 2 pm. We were thinking, it's after the lunch crowd, they won't be busy. Yeah right, we added our name to the wait list. About 15 mins later we were seated.
My all time favorite is the Vermicelli bowl with grilled pork, shrimp and egg rolls and Bahn Mi. Especially if it's our first time. That's how we compare restaurants. No matter what cuisine it is, we have our favorite dishes to compare.
We ordered the house special chicken wings, vermicelli bowl- I requested in a bowl. Normally it's served in a dish shaped like a boat. Lastly, the infamous Bone & Broth! It's a large beef bone with tender meat with slivers of tendon in a beef broth.
Everyone enjoyed their choices. The wings were fried perfectly,it was tender and crunchy. The vermicelli bowl was packed with fresh lettuce, cucumber, bean sprouts & carrots. The bowl had plenty of vermicelli, which is a plus. Sometimes we've been to other Vietnamese restaurants and I can see the bottom of the bowl after a few servings. The pork was crispy and smoky. The beef broth was clear, rich and savory. The beef tendon was very tender. They really took their time preparing it.
Next time we're in Ontario, we'll definitely stop by to try the rest...
