I am very disappointed in my interaction with this location. Very poor customer service. I was shopping at another Coach location when I inquired of a specific bag that was sold out months ago and I had missed two of the specific drops when they were released. A nice employee at the camarillo store checked inventory in the state of California and informed me this location had plenty in stock. I was ecstatic, when Coach released this collection usually, I am able to get the bag (Halloween bag) except for last year. She provided the contact telephone number and informed me they could ship it to me. When I arrived home I called and spoke to I believe his name was Edward/Eddie. He first checked stock to make sure they had it (the previous manager told me the number they had i stock (plenty) unless a reseller was to come and purchase all of them within a few hours. Mind you this manager also told me the price it was too. He first informed me he wanted to check stock and I waited five minutes he informed me they had stock but I needed to make an appointment. I said sure no problem, the appointment was set. The time came around and no one called. I waited 15 - 20 minutes and then called the store. A lady whose name began with K answered the phone and when I explained my appointment time, she was aware and asked me to hold. I waited about five minutes or more and than hung up. I did not revere a call back till about 45 minutes later which I than had to begin work and could not take the call. I was left one voicemail message and that is it. This store is clean, beautiful, and the staff is very helpful & friendly. When I had a concern about a product, someone was willing to go out their way to find answers for me. Greatly appreciated the service.

Sadly, I cannot give this store top rating because every time I shopped at this store, I felt extremely uncomfortable with the security guard in this store! I am literally followed by the individual at every section of this store.

At one point, it bothered me so bad, that I secretly “FaceTime” a family member in the store, to see if my theory about the security guard was true. I held my phone up to “act” as if I’m showing off a purse, when my family member, through the phone, also noticed the guard following me at every section of the store! This happens to me every time I’m there.The store is always filled with other people, but the guard only targets me every time I’m in there. The guard stops observing me the moment I reach the cashier line. It’s ridiculous.

Although,the security guard & I come from the same race, I felt that I was targeted to be “watched” because of the vicious stereotypes that women who like me are more susceptible to steal. It’s wrong, uncomfortable, & mortifying.
