The Caesar salad was crisp, clean, and fresh with a nice flavor. It was more of a non-traditional Caesar with a hint of smokiness. The bread was wheat and fresh and soft, served with butter—not quite Texas Roadhouse roll caliber but they were free and fine. The mashed potatoes were traditional, with skins. The macaroni and cheese also had some smokiness, topped with breadcrumbs and chives. The steak was cooked medium rare, pretty accurate, though maybe just a touch more on the medium side. It had a very thick crust, a little too charcoaly for my taste. The ahi tuna was very good—seared and served cold, almost like a refreshing salad. The portion was generous, and the dressing on the side was tasty and complemented it. It’s a full-sized portion that could easily be an entrée. The dressing tasted like the store-bought ones but I do enjoy those. The shrimp were very smoky, and a bit underwhelming, and served on bread. Service was decent, with someone checking on us shortly after the food was brought out. I wasn’t a fan of the pitcher sitting on the table. We were seated closest to the door, but there was plenty of space in the restaurant for larger groups. It was also a bit drafty, but it wasn’t too bad. It took just over 25 minutes from ordering to receiving the food. Service in general was decent nothing to complain about but nothing special.

TL;DR: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ —> The “JAWSsie” drink is so fun! It also tastes like Kool-aid so I had 2 🤣. Steak cooked perfectly. Tables pretty close to each other. —————————————————————- I asked our server Amy to recommend a drink and she suggested their “JAWSsie” drink that has a plastic shark full of grenadine, so when you flip the shark over, the grenadine colors the drink red like blood. SO FUN!! The shark is a toy to keep and it has Outback Steakhouse printed on its side. Amy even offered to take the video so I could flip the shark. She was a wonderful server - there when we needed her and not there when we didn’t. The bread came out warm and yummy like it always does, and the Bloomin’ Onion as an appetizer was perfect. We ordered the Sheila steak dinner; steak cooked medium with steak fries and rice. The steak came out cooked perfectly, and the gravy with mushrooms and peppercorn was really good. Steak fries and rice were normal quality. Overall, we agreed that the food was great and was consistent for the brand. The tables were pretty close to each other, so we felt a little crowded and like we were eavesdropping on our neighbors without trying. Other than that, great food and great service!

We were looking forward to a nice steak diner and a glass of wine. Outback has a national reputation of great quality steaks and that is one reason we chose to go to this restaurant. When we asked for a wine menu, we were told they did not have one and the waitress pointed to the bottles of wine behind the glass in the bar and said, “that’s what we have.” We had to walk over to the bar and look at the different wine bottles to make a decision on what wine we wanted to order. She told us that none of the prices were updated so we didn’t even have any idea how much the wine would cost. We ended up just ordering 2 glasses of the house Cabernet Sauvignon. We ordered an 11 oz sirloin cooked medium, referencing the scale on the menu. When the steak was brought out and we cut into it, it was well done. It was so dry it was hard to swallow. We did not have time to wait for another steak. The waitress apologized and agreed the steak was definitely not medium and she did not charge us for the steak. The waitress was very kind but it was very disappointed going to Outback and not having a wine list/prices and not being able to enjoy our dinner.

Tonight finally decided to give out back a second chance at dining in ..well it started great atmosphere was ok and when we sat at the table the waitress was pleasant enough and was quick with refills and overall did ok until!! The main courses finally came out I ordered the ribeye and salad and loaded potatoes..son ordered there pasta with chicken and shrimp and friends ordered steak and some new chicken dish ...anyways the ribeye looked like it was cooked by boiling water and the seasoning on it was so strong I could barely eat it .potato was good the steaks my friends got where there fillet minion well the top and bottoms were black they burnt the spices they used I mean black ..and now the main reasons I say never again the pasta dinner my son got was so loaded down with spices and heat to the point I tried it and it was to much no way ..so I told my waiter they went ext heavy on the seasoning and spices like it's so strong can't eat it .. replied well we heavy handed here so next time just say light or no seasoning..um excuse me ..well my sone tried to stomach what he could boy was hungry two shrimp and 4 bites later I can't dad my stomach is hurting it was so strong that it made him lose his dinner everywhere well quite frankly they disserve that but the manager ignored us just threw some towels at us and a box and nose in air walked off waitress never came back to the table or say anything else to use ...so lesson learned ..never will I recommend outback in Orem UT and never again will we be eating. There agin. So please make sure if you have little ones to remember the seasoning and heat .p.s all my kids like hot food and peppers but this was so extream this happened so watch for there...

We have been to this Outback 6 or 7 times now, and sadly, I'm pretty sure last night's visit will be out last. Every time we have gone, it is so uncomfortably cold that it makes it hard to enjoy eating there. Last time we asked them why it was so cold in there, and the waitress told us they like to keep it cool so that when they have their rush hours it doesn't get too warm. It made some sense, so we thought we would give it another try. Last night's visit was a Saturday night, about 7pm, which is what I would think is during their "rush hours". We had a party of 8, and every single person in our group complained about how uncomfortably cold it was. You could feel cold air blowing from their vents, and even the men in our group were chilly enough that they kept their jackets on all through dinner. Sadly the food is hit or miss. It's either great, or horrible. They can't seem to get the steaks cooked correctly. For our previous visit we ordered medium-rare, and it came out extremely rare. This time we decided to just order our steaks medium to see if that would fix it, but they came out almost well done and my steak had several charred spots on it. Then a couple of our coconut shrimp had obviously been left in the fryer too long, were a very dark brown, and had an almost burnt flavor to them. We really wanted to like this place, their sides are delicious, bread is tasty, and when/if they get the steaks cooked right, they are great, but it's just not worth taking the chance that we are going to pay $80 for a meal we aren't happy with while freezing...

We went for dinner. We got on the list for 8pm at noon. For two people.. We had tried several times later in the day and not been able to get a table before 10 pm, which is to late for us. So plan on a long wait or get on their list early in the day. We arrived at about 7:50 and our table was ready at about 8:10. The staff was nice. We ordered the blooming onion for our appetizer. The onion part was good but whatever that sauce is was nasty. My Husband ordered the bone in ribeye. His two sides were a wedge salad and mashed potatoes. He really liked the wedge salad, blue cheese crumbles and a sweet vinegrette. The mashed potatoes were ok. His steak was cooked to order and it was tasty. I ordered a filet mignon. My sides were a house salad and fries. The salad was good but I didn't even try the fries. The looked soggy. My steak was a little under cooked. I like my steaks medium well and it was more on the rare side. It also hadn't rested at all as my plate was covered in blood. Also the steak was so over seasoned that I couldn't even taste the meat. I asked for some A1, before I tasted the steak, which our waiter never brought and that ended up being ok since the steak was already over seasoned. Otherwise our waiter was really good. Nothing exciting, nothing super special. We'd go back if it were a company party or something, maybe. Overall it was just kind of okay. We paid $85, left a $20 tip. Not really...
