Food was fine as expected. My boyfriend and I were getting dinner here last night and got through the line, all of the employees were great until I got to the cash register. It was clear that the girl working the register was a new employee considering she didn't have a nametag and only had an apron. So I was trying to be as patient as possible. But what happened is absolutely unacceptable. She cut me off multiple times (when I got there I tried asking how her night was and she interrupted asking what meat I got in a really rude tone), rolled her eyes when I told her that my boyfriend was on my same transaction after she had spouted off my total, rolled her eyes again at me when I tried to pay cash even though IT IS AN OPTION, she also was super rude about the fact I got mango pico instead of the regular pico (asking me why I don't want the normal pico and why I got the mango pico instead). I ended up just paying card because she was clearly frustrated with the fact I tried paying cash. then she told her manager we didn't pay. She didn't give us a receipt either. So I showed him my bank statement saying it charged my card and he said we were fine. I know so many people who have worked customer service for years, including myself, and not once have them nor I treated someone with such disrespect. Even on the worst days. We will not be returning to this location. I advise you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNever thought Iād walk out of a restaurant but thereās a first time for everything.
I used to work at Costa Vida and was feeling like a sweet pork burrito. I come up to the line and the worker gives normal portions of rice and beans and then I ask for sweet pork. He puts somewhere around 1-2 oz of protein when the portion is 4oz.
I asked him to grab a scale and remake it with a full 4oz portion. Instead he grabs the tiniest tong full, like I was steeling out of his childrenās mouths, and puts on maybe 1-1.5 oz more on (For those of you keeping track thatās at most 3.5 oz for a portion that is supposed to be 4 oz).
So I just left. Iām not saying Iām the smartest person ever but Iām certainly not dumb. I worked at Costa Vida for 2 years and I am very acutely aware of what the proper portion of sweet pork is (itās much less than youād think). But what he gave me was most certainly not it.
If you want to spend $11 after tax for a burrito with 4 oz of protein (an already ridiculously small, but industry standard portion) only to get less than 3 oz you do you but I wonāt be purchasing from this location anymore. I hate having to be a āKarenā but train your employees on proper measurements, or use a scale. I donāt care, but give me what I paid for.
Guess Iāll be going to chipotle, at least they donāt charge extra for items that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst location to visit on every occasion I did. I came for a quick dinner after a long work day. I ordered a sweet pork quesida. The girl working on the salads bar didn't know what was going she let several customers cut in front me and didn't ask what I even had. They finally found my order threw it in a trey and folded it in half. It was clear I was frustrated and upset and other customers were watching to see my reaction. I remained calm even though the service was terrible and employees impolite. I told the expo person I wanted a dressing she ignored me. I finally got to the register they put a salad (Part of another order) on my trey to try to charge me for it and forgot my dressing. I told them to give me my dressing and they said "Your what" I stated it again and they said "what". I spoke sternly and stated my dressing then it took them 2 minutes to figure out the size of the dressing. Picture of my trey attached of sloppy food presented and dressing without a lid spilling on the trey. Terrible. The only person who worked hard was the boy who cleaned the lobby. And re arranged all the tables and chairs to look presentable more then the food and...
