Crumbl — Restaurant in Orem

TL;DR: Would order cookies from here again. I hope they consider adding more cookie options in the future but also simplicity is a good thing. I ordered 1 box chocolate chip ($10.68) and 1 box sugar cookies ($10.69). Each box came with 4 HUGE cookies. I ordered these as a surprise for my sister during finals week (4/30-5/4/18). The delivery time was 8:30-9:00. I received the first text at 8:32 that our cookies were on the way with a link to their driver tracker (pretty cool) and got a new text at 8:38 that the driver was arriving. I received a phone call about 5 minutes later from the driver because he was having a hard time locating our apartment. We live in a big complex so no hard feelings. He was able to locate our apartment and while I included a message (for my sister) the driver only had the option of reading it from his phone or letting her read the message on his phone. This is weird to me because I assumed the message would be printed on paper but instead they shared an awkward moment while my sister read the message on his phone. I can see this being more awkward if there is any romantic lingo involved.. My sister said the cookies were warm when they arrived and tasted great. I got home about 2 hours later to cold cookies but they still tasted wonderful. I personally think the cookies would be better smaller and crunchier but if you like gooey, warm cookies than you should love these. OMG! NO SERIOUSLY you guys! I've been a fan of CRUMBL from the beginning! Never yet had a cookie from there that wasn't delicious but let me just say that I was out of this world surprised when I reluctantly ordered the lemon poppy seed cookie in the 2 4packs we got to take home a few nights ago! It was SOOO fantastic I could almost cry! It was so moist and warm, had a light glaze and when I bit into it I was greeted with the most delicious little pockets of lemon juice! Actual JUICE inside the cookie! It was heavenly! Honestly! If you have considered trying it but we're reluctant at all, I HIGHLY recommend you do! I promise you will not be disappointed! We also got a chocolate cookie with a really great chocolate frosting that was top notch delicious too! Plus, the pink cookie with a cream cheese frosting that was delicious and 2 Mom's recipe cookies and a chocolate chip which you can't go wrong with ever! The store was pristine and the 2 girls working the night shift were amazing and friendly! Also, I want to add that we actually literally asked Google "who has the BEST gourmet cookies around and was immediately told CRUMBL in South Orem! By God good old Google was spot on that time! I highly recommend you go try them out and even more I HIGHLY RECOMMEND try their phenomenal Lemon poppyseed cookie! Oh! I almost forgot we also got 2 of the raspberry cheesecakes which are not a cookie at all but rather actual cheesecake and while it was good this reviewer says they should stick with cookies! I am very disappointed with a catering order that I placed on Thursday Aug 23rd. I called on Wednesday Aug 22nd at night just to ask if they would have 50 cookies ready on Monday Aug 27th at 10am (right when they open). The girl that I talked to reassured me that yes and that I needed to give them at least 48 hours in advance. So far so good. I called them back the next day to place the order for a work activity. I talked to Kristy and she was very helpful in taking my order and payment and once again I asked if the cookies would be ready right at 10am. She reassured me once again, that they would. Fast forward to Monday at 10am. My boss went to pick them up and guess what.... the cookies are not ready!! The girl that talked to my boss first seemed to have no clue about the order but the manager said "oh yeah, the 50 cookies" and told him that they would be ready in 30 minutes. This is totally unacceptable. At least give me a call "hey, we are running behind, sorry" or something like that but nothing. My boss went back home, went back to the store for a second time and even after 40 minutes they were just putting the cookies in the boxes. It blows my mind that after spending quite a bit of money for 50 cookies the customer service was lacking big time. I am giving this review 2 stars because the product indeed is amazing. After this experience I am not sure if I would consider you guys again for a work activity and I would probably take my business...
