BUYERS BEWARE This last Christmas my family purchased several blankets from Mink Couture. I was especially excited because I have always loved cozy soft blankets, and I know Minky Couture labels themselves as having one the most cozy, luxurious and expensive blankets on the market. All of our blankets were wonderful, except for one. The blanked I received shed more fuzz then I knew possible. Since opening it on Christmas Day, the blanket has quite literally been falling apart all over me and my bedroom. No matter how much I clean and change my clothing and sheets the fibers shedding off of the blanket continue to end up absolutely everywhere. With hopes that in time the blanket would eventually stop shedding its fiber, I continued to keep it in my room until it simply became too much. With hopes that Minky Couture would understand my frustration and stand behind their product I returned to the store with the blanket to explain my situation. Minky Couture acknowledged that there was a manufacturer error around December, resulting in far less then ideal blankets and many returns. Unfortunately even with this knowledge Minky Couture would not give me compensation for my blanket and still charged me $108 to replace it. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service Minky Couture has shown me but even more surprised and disheartened that a successful business like Minky Couture does not back their own...
Read moreWas ready to purchase 10 blankets, but that return policy put some doubt in my mind...(and maybe someone can help me out)...I'm not trying to come off as disgruntled, because I'm not, just disappointed and confused...I'm truly trying to give some input that might help the business and the customer. Because I'm sorry, any company that doesn't fully back their product makes me doubt the quality of it. ....I would expect a place that charges $100+ to be a little more classy and lenient in this area. Because not taking something back even if ONLY the sticker was lifted??? Okay I get that there are people out there that might use the blanket then try to wrap it up and return it (which that's another issue, a place that charges that much SHOULD take anything back in my opinion...it's just the way of that caliber of business ie Bloomingdales, Nordstrom aka the "luxury" industry as Minky claims to be), so if you don't want to take back a used blanket fine, but then at least have EVERY pattern on display to see and feel. Because items don't look exactly like the photos. So rather than spend $2000, and risk the receivers not quite liking the pattern but being stuck with them, I went...

I went to the Orem store on the Thursday for a certain blanket. There' was a 45% off sale and also a buy one get one for a dollar sale going on. They said they had the blanket that was in the back they haven't un packed yet and they will call me as soon as they had it. I waited till Saturday and called them and they said that we still haven't unpacked it but I would still get the sale-price. Waited and waited for the phone call finally came on Wednesday it's on the shelf but they don't use the special and the special is not as good as it used to be. I probably will not be coming back this company because I had no help at all. I had told my autistic soon about the dollar special and he was super disappointed that he now didn't get one. The clerk, when I told her they had said they'd honor the special just said, welll we have a different special every week and put the blanket back on the shelf and said have a good day as we went out the door. Thanks a lot for making our Christmas...
