This was my family’s first time here. We dined in with a party of 10. My husband called in advance to reserve a table, and upon arrival, our table was set up with menus on the table. Service was quick, and our server was very attentive to everyone’s requests. She remembered everyone’s drinks, which was impressive since we had 6 little kids with us. I couldn’t even take pictures of all the food because the appetizers were so good, and we had hungry children grabbing it all before I could even grab my phone. We tried the fried chicken dumplings, garlic focaccia , ground beef pastel, and Brazilian cheese bread. SO SO good!!! They were a hit with kids and adults. For entrees, their kids portions were ginormous and super saucy (picture of Alfredo penne) Kids (ages 10 and under) ordered a range of pizzas and pastas, all delicious and none of them could finish their huge portions. Adults ordered chicken pesto pizza, and Alfredo with steak. Their pizza dough was tasty and chewy. Pesto flavor was great, and the steak in the Alfredo was flavorful and tender. Alfredo sauces were excellent. The owner came out to check on us and suggested next time to order the Alfredo with shrimp. We ended the night with a large Nutella pizza, and I think collaboratively that was everyone’s favorite pizza. We ordered 6 gelatos, and all the flavors we ordered were a hit. Flavors were Almond joy, chocolate mousse, cheesecake, cotton candy and bubblegum. We left that night with a ton of leftovers and a full belly. The consensus from everybody was that the food was delicious and service was excellent. We will be back again. Thanks Delicatto!

Long story short, I have a new fav Italian restaurant. The location is really nice if you're going for a movie/dinner date (and really just in general). The inside is very spacious, modern, and has a very high ceiling. You order at the counter and take any open table. The service was very friendly and very quick. Within a minute or two of sitting down, we had warm bread to snack on before our food comes. I got a tomato basil soup as an appetizer and the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. The tomato basil was basic, but still very good and was a large portion. The fettuccine alfredo was more of a lighter sauce (which I liked because heavy cream sauces are way, way filling) and everything was cooked to perfection. Definitely enjoyed all the food. And the gelato was super good too. The price is a little on the spendier side for college students, but it's definitely good for a date night. There was someone playing live music on stage and it was just a really nice dinner out. Very much recommend.

Went to Delicatto for the first time last week, and did not disappoint. I got coxinha, empada, enroladinho, chicken parm, top sirloin with onions, and guaraná. Very tasty food! Tastes like home! I ate a lot! 🤣🤪 vit was worth it! I was happy to see the restaurant busy all the time. I also got Brazilian French Bread. They were great! I have a couple suggestions: you need a menu on the wall, so people know what you offer, specially the new guests like me, also display prices. Charge everyone upfront because people can order and simple take off. Maybe change the counter to a different spot? Because everyone get stuck right in the entrance making it difficult to get in/ out of the restaurant and also from your kitchen. Have one people most of the time at the counter. A lot of people waited a long time to be acknowledged because there was no one to greet them. Oh! And open one here in Salt Lake! 😉😉 Besides that, Vanubia is a sweetheart, and love and passion is there for sure! Thank you!!!

Way overpriced. It looks like a nice restaurant on the outside and on the inside, and they charge like a nice sit down place, but that's where the resemblance to a nice restaurant stops.

They have you walk to the register and hand the one and only menu in the place to decide what you want.

You then pay up front, where you are asked to pay a substantial tip before you have sat down or received any service whatsoever.

Having paid such high prices (about $45 for two people), we were expecting the service and food to match. This was far from the case.

Despite being the only customers, the 8 or 9 employees were too busy flirting with each other, chatting, picking their nose, or in one case, shuffling around with a hoodie over their uniform looking confused to bother prepping the food or providing service to the table. (It honestly took us 10 minutes to realize the last one wasn't someone who'd wandered in off the street while on a bad trip.)

I'd ordered the Gnocchi al Ragu, $12, which looked and tasted exactly like gnocchi bought from Winco, drowned in canned Preggo sauce. I could make the same exact thing at home with no effort other than boiling the gnocchi and opening a can.

My wife ordered the pesto pizza, which she said was okay, but she would definitely never pay $10 for again. The problem with this is that the gnocchi was delivered about 20 minutes before we saw the guy working the pizza oven stop flirting with the two girls and START making the pizza. (Again we were the only customers there, not hard to be a little more prompt. Nothing again socializing at work when you're slow, just do it where the customers can't see you and don't let it stop you from what little work there is.)

The bruschetta appetizer was delivered after both entres. (About 45-50 minutes after sitting down.)

Maybe this was just one bad experience and we would change our minds if we went back, but after paying so much for such a horrible service, neither of us ever...

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. I've been to this restaurant multiple times and always have friends and family there as well. Although i've never had a 100% quality costumer service experience, this time was a -10 for me. Agustina (I believe that's her name), my server, treated me and my friend rudely from the moment we walked in. I've never felt so judged by anyone. I could just feel her despise for serving us. First of all they were out of several item I was looking forward to order. My friend ordered their coxinha and it was literally all dough and no chicken. The rest of the food was okay. When it was time for us to pay, Agustina came to grab our cards and I reminded her we were doing different checks (split between guests), and she confirmed to me that's what she would do (with a cynical face on, mind I say). She handled us a literal "split" check where me and my friend were paying for half of each product. As Agustina put the chairs up not minding to check on us, I asked her politely if she could help us with the bills because they were charged wrong. My friend was paying for way more than she was supposed to because she wasn't charged for the right items. Agustina looked at me and asked if I could "Venmo" my friend because there was nothing she could do about it????? Me and my friend both work at restaurants and were extremely surprised by her attitude and treatment. She also kept telling me how "split" meant we would pay half half on the check. Split means "between guests, or payment type, and can be done at any point during service." I also wonder why she couldn't speak Portuguese to us knowing we spoke her language fluently. SHE clearly didn't understand what the word "split" means. It just looked like she was mocking us. Extremely disappointed. I forgot part of my partially untouched to go $8 dessert on the table as I was leaving bc I was so distressed by...

I've been here three times and each time the bruschetta has been absolutely heavenly. I brought my sister here specifically for the bruschetta. We got in at 11:00 a.m. and decided to have bruschetta for the appetizer and get a pizza. We were told if we wanted to get a pizza we'd have to wait 40 minutes because they just turn the oven on. They're open at 11:00 but they don't turn the oven on until 11:00 so if you want pizza at a pizza place you have to wait 40 minutes. We ordered several items after asking questions to which the server answered "I don't know" to every one of them and then just stood there looking at us. I finally asked him to go ask someone the answer to one of our questions. The first thing that came out was missing cheese. I pointed this out. They were nice enough to cook us a new one and tell us that we could keep the one that we got. Then the bruschetta came out. The bread was devoid of any moisture whatsoever. It was so rock hard it felt like it had been left out of the bag for a week. When you broke it with two hands, it would snap and crumble. I asked the server about it who then went and asked the cook. The server came back and told us that's how it's supposed to be but the cook was willing to make me another one. At this point we just left. The server was very sweet but did not know anything about anything on the menu. The first thing we were served was made wrong and the second thing we were served was inedible. Then we were told that is how it was suppoed to be. It was not the last three times I've been in. This is extremely disappointing because I haven't been able to find anywhere else around here that makes bruschetta as good as the first three times I ate here. Now I don't know if...
