My husband and I were super excited to try this place out for the first time about a month ago, and from the moment we walked in, we loved the atmosphere and were even more excited about how fun it is to be in there. It also doesn’t really bother me that much that they don’t require masks for their employees, so if that is something that bothers you, just don’t go.
But I am sad to say that the food was not pleasant at all (and we are NOT picky eaters whatsoever, and sometimes we ere on being a little too optimistic when it comes to judging food). We ordered an appetizer of nachos and when they came out, the waitress said, “Let me know if those are too burnt for you”. Without even looking, we just kindly shrugged it off and said, “oh, it’s no problem” (because we didn’t think that a restaurant would ever bring out nachos that were too burnt, so we figured it was an exaggeration). But when we looked at the nachos, they were black all around and we hardly ate any of them because indeed, they were way too burnt.
We were really excited about all of the flavor options they offer, but honestly, the wings were awful (and I wanted to like them SO bad). The chicken was extremely dry—so dry that we couldn’t even differentiate between the flavors. A few weeks before this I had munched on some KFC wings, and those were FAR better than these restaurant wings—a place that specializes in wings. In the end we left hungry and pretty disappointed that this place didn’t live up to what we thought it would.
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt; maybe there are inconsistencies in who cooks, maybe it was someone’s first day—but if wings are your speciality, then you should make ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that your people know what they are doing, they know how to cook wings, they know when chicken is overdone and when nachos are burnt. Because even us, who have zero professional training on those things, could have made a better meal than what was offered for us at this place. And it wasn’t...
Read moreWe have absolutely LOVED this place for the last 6+ years until today. Arrive around 1pm on opening weekend of college football. A little surprised to see only 2 other customers in there. My husband looked at the beer menu and ordered a Cutthroat - we don’t have any, then ordered a DosXX- we don’t have any, then asked the uninterested waitress ( the only waitress/bartender working)well why don’t you tell me what you do have so I can choose , her response was what kind do you want - ummmmm something similar to the 2 that he tried to order , she pretty much just stared at him, next he orders a Park City Blonde Hooker beer - we don’t have that. Once again well what do you have and no help. Finally found that they do have a Miller light available so he orders that. I order a Diet Coke and taste it and it tasted different but no big deal except to find out on our bill it was actually Diet Pepsi- most waitresses inform you if they don’t have coke products. ( I would never even comment on this if this were the only issue) We finally get to order- wings and buffalo chips were AWESOME as always. 2 teen boys order chicken nachos and they are not picky but I noticed they were not eating much so I said pass them here and we can finish them - NOPE chicken tasted like someone had poured lighter fluid on it to grill it. Save the BEST for last. Other teen boy ordered the Ultimate burger. He got it and took a few bites and doesn’t say a word but a few minutes later the waitress brings the actual meat patty that was suppose to be on the burger??????? So he was served a burger with NO meat. $86 later we walk out with 2 hungry teens and disappointed hubby w lack of beer selection. I really hope this was a fluke because we LOVE...
Read moreWon't lie, I don't recommend this place. We went on a Saturday night and all just kind of stood there not knowing what to do as no one was there to help us, and when we went to order at the front, they told us we need to go sit and wait for a waiter. So from the beginning we were super confused. During the entire time the waiter only came to take our orders and give our food. He never came to fill up our waters and we waited for a couple hours and he never gave our check. We had to go up and ask for it and they again told us to sit down and wait for the waiter. Mind you, there were only two other occupied tables in the entire place. And you know, all this is fine, it really doesn't bug me that bad. The reason why this has a 1 star review is the cleanliness! NONE of the staff had a face mask! We are literally having a health pandemic and NOT ONE SINGLE person of the staff had a mask. Not the waiter, not the bar keeper, not the cooks that we ended up trying to order from at the beginning as we were confused. The waiter came to our table and sat while he took our order, since he obviously had a long day, which is totally fine, but he sighed and breathed right into my face since he had on no mask. We are in a pandemic! There's a reason we have masks! To avoid breathing in other people's faces! The tables were dirty and not a sanitized, except wiped down with a dirty rag when we first were sitting at the table, since it was very dirty, even though it was the cleanest in the place. This place did not follow health regulations. I would not recommend it. Won't be surprised if we come down with the Rona...
