Disappointed!##! They were awful cupcakes! They had a smooshy gummy cake, and crumbly all at the same time. Like it was cooked, but treated with something to keep it "moist" which resulted in a gross texture. Tastes were terrible on all 6 cupcakes we tried. The red velvet was the least bad out of all 6. They all tasted the same, like sugar, with no flavors. The confetti had a terrible taste of all the heavy food dye colorings used. The strawberry was disgusting. You know when strawberries start to turn rotten and there's a rotting berry flavor? That was the cupcake! Yuck! It was an overwhelming gross flavor. A famous cupcake bakery, once again, let us down. We had this bakery on our visit list for a few years, and was finally able to go, and we wish we could get our money back. The young girl working there was friendly but acted like she didn't want to be there. I love their company sprinkles but would never eat here again. The Coco Bean in Idaho is still the #1 cupcake bakery we've had in 6 states, since we've started reviewing and seeking out...
Read moreI paid 50+ for a mutant cake! Check the photos! I went in two weeks before my son's birthday to pick up a dozen cupcakes for a fun flavor choice/taste test. I asked for only the flavors that could be made into birthday cakes and wrote all the names down. When I called in to order the cake, I was told that my son's pick was not available - lame! My son decided to try a red velvet cake instead and when I went to pick it up it looked like this - see photo. The staff looked at it and shrugged (they had been slow on the first day and downright rude on the pickup). Because of time (and the fact that I had prepaid over the phone for this monstrosity) I took it and and my family (except my son) spent several hours ridiculing the cake - that was the most humiliating moment I have had in years - thank you STF, I will NEVER buy...
Read moreWent when it opened years back with friends. That time was good. Went there just today with family.... We won't be returning. Ordered cookies to split, and share. I decided to ask what cupcake would be recommended. The worker said strawberry shortcake so I went with it. The berry was rotting. This deterred my family from trying it, but not I! I cut the rotting bit off, and decided to try it. To my dismay the cake was soggy, and sticky. Then somehow as I was eating the cake it was as if I was just eating undercooked dough. I knew I would have to check for rotting berries in the supermarket. I didn't expect it from a shop. To my dismay as we went through the cookies the chocolate one wasn't cooked all the way, and yet was crumbling. The oatmeal was good until we bit into a gob of what I assume is shortening. .5/10. We...
